Ok - Ive been asked to do the writeup.
So...Some may know, some may not.
Ginger Magician : Self-proclaimed numero uno pvper of Eve, Camps the same system in a Thanatos.
However today was a change of pace...Unknown to many folks, a gang of a Phoenix, Archon and several other smaller ships decided to make their day interesting and take on Ginger. And so the day began..
A cynosurail field was errected, and promptly jumped the Archon and Phoenix, with its smaller strikeforce jumping in from the camped system. Suddenly upon seeing the sight of capital ships, Gingers wingmen soon left for the station, leaving Ginger cold, at the sight of the now dangerously active space around him. And then it started:
The .EE fleet came in first, launching fighters and citadel torpedoes, slamming into the Thanatos' shield, which was soon enough diminished. A few minutes later, a call to LR pilots was made, and several ceptors and an Eagle promptly joined the fight. For the next 7 minutes, and many ex-victims giving ginger payback, he was soon into half Armor. At this stage, his capacitor had all been exhaused. It was just a case of the slow pummeling of the unbuffed armor...
Eventually, the holes were punched, and the Thanatos was rightfully converted into the form of a wreak.
I would like to formally congratulate .EE for a well-thought out and carefully organised operation, and no smacktalk or any comments were made in local. Hats off to you folks, for being damn good PvPers and doing the damage ^^

Yeah, Ginger war-dec'd us and White-Noise for popping his last one. That's 4 carrier losses for him total, 3 in the last month. He lost one Nov 17th to Legio Immortalis, he lost one to RPInc and White-Noise on Dec 10th, and now the one on the 17th. I think I'm seeing a pattern here...
I may not be the biggest Liberty Rogues fan out there, but I dislike Ginger even more...and it was a nice kill. Congratz peeps. Maybe he'll start getting the hint he's not wanted in Hagilur...

Caught him in a nearby system trying to pirate in an arbitrator. Must be too poor for proper carriers now ... Needless to say, my autocannons had something to say about that. I need to sc*****it off my paint now ...

The words "racking up kills and you're really good at it" does not stack with the name "Ginger Magician".
Ginger is a sad little critter, he used to run away from me when i was just a noob in a T1 cruiser hence i never managed to fight him because his running spirit was high as it still is, it seems.
Good riddance indeed, keep killing him and he may actually try to learn to do some real pvp.

Well another day another carrier loss lol.
What can I say.Unfortunately without being able to fit any wcs once u are engaged by overwhelming numbers it is impossible to get away anymore especially in carriers ofc.
Why you all get so excited about easy ganks is hard to understand.In my entire EVE career I think I can count on one hand the number of 1v1 fights I have lost where the ships were of a similar class yet I get no respect at all as a pvper.
In any case you all know that u cant kill me fairly so this is what happens when ur the most famous player in EVE.I can live with it.
And no I havent run out of isk.The carrier is a very useful tool for killing bears and it will be replaced like all the others.

And Gingie - The thing with carriers....Its not how big/pricy the ship is...its how you use it. Believe it or not, carriers with their lock time and obvious main role of fighters/drones ARENT meant to camp gates for shuttles.

People dont seem to respect BoB either, despite them being really good at what they do. I dont think you'll get any respect as a pirate unless you do it the Veto Way and ransom people. The thing is, as soon as a fight is not fair, you wont get respect. And fighting someone fairly isnt really done often in Eve...
Its basically a bit ironic, because the better you are at not getting killed by stacking the odds in your favor, the less you get respected since its viewed as cheap tactics.

I felt kind of miffed that the best PvPer in Eve was afraid of a carebear who at the time had never shot at another player before. =p

Well... I've laughed and pointed fingers at ginger before, not because of his achievemnts, 'cause even though i hate to say it, ginger is a great pilot, but because of his typical reply's and his extreme ego.
But due to the last 2-3 months of threads like "OMG\0/ims0gr3At Cause we R teh ganked Ginger lolololl!111one" its getting boring and stupid.
If you wanna brag about killing ginger, then ask him for a 1o1 or two, No jammers, 15-20k start, no bull**** and get it over with, but until then -> w00t, you blobbed a carrier.. Not

He doesn't. If you read the OP's post again you'll see ole Ginge had 'wingmen' who 'soon left for the station, leaving Ginger cold'.
Besides, how do you solo with a carrier anyhow? I mean, the lock time... sheesh...
