Okay,
Me and my corp been ratting Sancha's alot, and we got a major stack of forementioned armor plates from salvaging. After looking at all the Rig BPO's we haven't found one rig that uses this component.
Anyone got a clue what to use them for?

How much you want for them? 
They will be used in tech 2 rig manufacture when people have found occult tuner data interfaces for tech 2 armor rig invention.
If you dont want to wait, I'll invest in them. Not worth very much atm, but will be valuable in a few months time.

Are you sure about that? I don't see that they are using armor plates in the item database

Ditto on that, I really don't think anything is using armor plates ATM.

Ouch. That's about the price range I figured. Doesn't really open up T2 or invention at all, unless you've got Billions in the vault already.
T1 won't be a hell of a lot cheaper untill there are masses of them for sale, either.
