Just imo but i think it's rather childish and lame that people post smack talk about other players/ccp/etc. Using an alt so nobody in game will know it was them who did it. If you don't want to be associated with comments to the point you think you need an alt to make a post then don't make them. Just my personal pet peeve alts were never suppose to be a meanse of smack talking without reporcussion.

Seriously though, I've already sent one general email to the mods about crime and punishment. Wasn't about anyone in particular, but generally there needs to be more of a respectful tone set. I look at eve-i, I look at crime and punishment and it's the difference between 60 minutes and Gerry Springer.

Smack behind alts is the crime. Its major cowardice and a sure sign of inferiority complex.
Smack with you main, people have recourse to hold you to account in-game.
Smack with your alt ... you are just w-anking off and messing up the forums.

Does it realy matter if it's behind an alt, or behind the screen.
Fact is most only talk big because there anon anyway.
Problem being is that most of you take it too seriously, and start to belive your actualy talking to somebody, when realy your just talking to an anon anyway.
God sake my name isn't galk, i screwed up my handle of player creation anyway.

as an odd side note, actually, Bad Harlequin is *my* alt. The original Zetetic Elench corp idea i had pre-beta never materialized, as the few Banksies i could get my hands on were already committed to other corps...
oh well. As it turns out, an exploration / research / roaming corporation would have been a VERY BAD idea, anyway, so i guess i'm lucky... my poor wacky Intaki.
