Okay, so it's about time we had a forum buddies thread.
After reading day after day through the forums, I decided that you see some things that either make you laugh so hard your side comes off, or you see something you can't stand.
I NOMINATE MISS OVERLORD
Why?
Because she posts like, the most VAGUE replies to everything so that without error, she manages to somehow cover it, only not ever hit it on the head.

Is this a who do you like or hate on the forums kinda thing?
For like I'd say Avon. He always posts what I'm thinking (or saying) only without using the words 'stfu noob' every other sentence like I do.
As for hate? Um, that dude who came up with the idea of the 23. He used to post the most unbelievable amount of crap possible. It wasn't illiterate or anything, it could almost pass as a credible opinion if you didn't take time to actually read anything he said. Just... so many bad ideas...
Can't remember his name, and I think he quit eve (several times). So... I dunno, him I guess?

Hmm, tough call...
I come to the forums to argue, so I guess my favorite forum adversary is Avon... Hell, even if I just saw his name as last poster in a thred, I checked it out to see what he wrote, and started up an arguement, etc...
Have not seen him around in a while though...
I have also had a lot of fun with DS over in out of pod too, Mr. Wikipedia himself, lol...
Can't really think of anyone I view as a forum "buddy"... I normally don't have too many ppl agreeing with me, or backing up my point of view, etc...

In the past I liked most posts of Rod Blaine a lot.
He sometimes writes more or less exactly what I'm thinking just better than I could and without needing a flamesuit, because he stays always calm.
I sometimes thought, he could be one of the devs ... if it wasn't that he critizizes their stuff from time to time.

I admire Redundancy as a forum poster because, unlike someone who just types away aimlessly sometimes (me), his posts are always to the point and intelligent.
There are many people at CCP who I wish would use the forum more often but I can't hold it against them because it can be quite daunting to post here.

Of those whose names I can recall, Rod Blaine as he has the patience to set out a lengthy argument, and Verone / Ikvar (better yet both of them in the same thread) as you just know it's going to be something hilariously absurd.
I am familiar with Miss Overlord, yes, but I think people are being a little harsh.
But really I reserve my respect for a handful of Amarrian RP guys who manage to remain in character everywhere.  I am not even into RP, but I can see that must take some dedication. I can never remember their names, but they are easy to spot due to their ornate sigs.

Hmm...
I've always admired DS for having the answer to almost every question.
I did like Hippoking because we both started to ***** the forums at about the same time and I always got the impression he had a very similar frame of mind to my own.

Well, I am still new and havent really sorted the personalities in forums out yet.
Interestingly enough most of the people everyone mentions have a "niche" so to speak with their forum foo which is particularly admired or loathed.
HMM, maybe I need a niche no-one else has taken.
Like...umm...oh yeah! NOT POSTING, thats bound to be a vastly underused and underated opinion selling tactic.
Would make my peace of mind easier anyway, but I doubt I can refrain from posting about anything.

There has to be different categories I think.
My suggestion;
Science/ general workings; Nyphur and ofc DS.
Funny blabber etc; Ikvar and Verone. /me remembers the "I am on a adventure" pic.
Most hostile; Gonada in virtually every single one.
Most patient; almost all devs but I think Kieron, Eris and Wranglypoos win here.
Worst spammer; Thomus/the tx/ whatever bloody name he had aswell.
Thats my list.
P.s. Forgot Jim Mc. for being level headed, his posts kinda stick in my mind and the fact he has a different "mother tongue" I feel kinda embarrassed that my English is so bad.

Most Intelligent: DS, Rod Blaine, Digital.
Funniest: I have to agree with Evil Thug and Omeega, but especially Omeega. I ***** up at at least every two out of three of his posts.
Least Favorite: Tie between Butter Dog and Nez Perces. They seem to feel the need to vehemently inject their opinions repeatedly into threads that have nothing at all to do with them. It gets really old after a while.

Favorites: Anyone who actually has something to say (on either side of a discussion), and can put forward a constructive post.
Least favorite: Those who think that attacking the person is more valid than countering the idea.
I'm not going to list individuals in each category, but I'm sure people know pretty much where they stand with me.
