feels like akeyboard after your 5 year old dropped his toffee icy cream all oer the keys.
seriously, why isn't more stuff binded?
why does it all take so much memory and processing power?
and is it just me or does my client totally freeze up now every time I download someones employment history or portraite???
too much is being crammed into one view mode, and theres virually no way (apart from changing colours and overview sizes!?!!) to customise it.
I hope this gets a serious look into at Kali...

I'm in catch, I have MAJOR problems with the market especially near crowed regions, when I buy, i'm left waiting over serveral minutes for each purchase whilst my client locks up.

This game is from 2003, some people seem to forget there weren't fancy 3d interfaces at that time.
And to be honest once you get the hang of it everything seems very logical.

Its all about a lack of threads(Not forums post, but computer science threads).

I don't have market lockups ever, really, and i can run the client 3 times at the same time with 3 different accounts and not have problems (as long as I only have sound enabled on 1 client at a time, otherwise I bluescreen).

Get FRAPS, try with UI on, try with UI off. You'll see the difference.

It's not only the lag, but it's so annoying to use sometimes. Why can't we bind keys to activate all out highslots? Why can we move the overview to a different spot on the screen? Why can where our modules are located?
It's not as good as the UI (hate to say it) for WoW or GW.

TBH, i'm actually very happy with the format the UI uses. Takes some getting used to, but the game mechanics themselves do too. Once you get those down, its like a wide open happy world!

Now show me how I can target something without using my mouse, without needed the bugged to Jita and back over view, How I can control my drones who I can do anything past activating modules with the keyboard.
The client window model is amateurish at best. The placement of the different UI parts can be called a quick tech hack on a good day. The font breacks each and every rule fordesigning an easy to read font for screen based communication. Ergonomy is different.
In a year we'll be able to control EVE with a gameboy.
Want fun: Watch your system load with EVE as topmost window and when another application is on top. 70% of the system load EVE causes comes from the mouse fokus handling routines. And with each client improvement, that part grew bigger for the last two years.

The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing.
