Tbh I hope never, CCP does not need to divert resources to this issue at this time, There are far bigger problems in that Company they need to address than fancy ship skins.
Own nothing, Build nothing, Plan nothing, Just blow it all up, you know it makes perfect sense, Fozzie says so.

People are literally willing to pay to advertise Eve Online. Slap a web store together. Get some starving children of whatever 3rd world country is cheapest this week to make the stuff and let the player base's disposable income work for you. Just please don't get ridiculous with shipping charge. |

That is what they did with musterbrand. they outsourced it. Thats what they are doing now. The stuff you are "seeing everywhere" are prolly not licensed by ccp in anyway, and could be shut down if ccp had the resources. Kinda like the counterfeit nfl/mlb/nba/whatever products you see that are made by random people and have nothing to do with the sports org that runs things. So people are technically stealing eve copy write.
But thats why its taking so long. CCP stopped making things themselves, and instead focused on eve and let other companies make things for them.

Looks like they talked about it today in the CSM meeting, but we wont know for sure until the official minutes are out but it looks like the only thing they said was "soon" |
