Do Leadership skills that work without gang assist modules work only when part of a gang? For example, if you have Armored Warfare I, do you get a 2% bonus to your Armor HP only when grouped or do you also get the bonus when you're flying solo?

I believe you have to be in a gang for it to take effect. So if your solo they're not giving you any bonus.

They work only in a "FLEET" in same system in space.
The skills use to work in gangs, but since the last update you need to convert Gang to a Fleet and be in the same Squad to get bonus

They only work when you're in a correctly set up in a fleet and the little green light indicating the bonus is on.

Stupid question but, how do you turn on the little green light.
When I get my alt into a gang then convert it to a fleet so I can give my alt the mineing forman bonus, the light stays red and my alt gets no bonus.

The light lights up when the bonuses are active, you don't turn it on. Most likely the problem you're having is that you're Fleet Commander by default when you convert to a fleet, and you probably don't have the skills to be the Fleet Commander. Demote yourself to Squadron command and things should start working for you.

Thank you Anti Protagonist. That was the proublem. They should make a "convert to squad" and "convert to wing" option too.

My question:
User A is in a Squadron and his ship has, say, 1000 hp armor when he is alone.
Now his Squadron Commander, Wing Commander and Fleet Commander all have Armored Warfare level 5.
Now much armor hp does he have now:
1000, 1100, 1300 or 1331?

If ANY of his commanders has AW5 and the "command chain" to the one having AW5 is not broken, he gets 1100.
If any of those commanders has a armor mindlink, he gets 1150. Not more if anybody else has it.
If any of them is flying an Erebus with GT5, he gets 1375. Can't go above that no matter what skills/implants anybody has.
Fleet bonuses don't add up nor multiply. Compare, pick highest affecting an attribute.
Oh, and they're stack-nerfable if the affected attribute is stack-nerfable (resists from armor/shield resists link, for instance).

Today I`ve learned Shield Warfare Specialist. Link (to shield resists) works correctly in a sqadrom, but in wing (Wing Command 1 lvl) - I, like wing commander, recieve all bonuses (+10% Shield HP, resistance) but people in sqadrom only +10% shield hp, without resistance bonus.
Link module works only in sqadrom or it`s a bug or I doing something wrong??? plz help me.
