Im a newbro just been playing skillque online whilst i figure out what i want to do in this game and the nomadic thing really does appeal but due to low SP meaning i cant fly the super shiny stuff like orcas and bowheads im having to tackle it through a different approach
Alt1 - low sp indy, loaded with a small number of bpc's of my ship choice and t2 mods. Flying something crap and fast so can also act as scout.
Alt2 - low sp pvp/pve boat
The idea is to dock up the indy with the bpc's wherever / whenever possible, put the bpcs safe in in item hangar and slam a ship replacement + mods into production (from minerals either mined reprocessed stolened or bought in whatever passes for the local economy where i end up)
Take the pvp / pve boat out into the unknown and shoot at stuff till they go pop or i go pop
My philosophy behind doing it this way is to hell with isk efficiency. I jjst dont like having to jump 20 times after going pop just to get a ship replacement. The low sp indy alt with the cheap as crap bpcs will be my mobile base of operations
Probably a really bad idea but im going to have fun realising that :) at least until i can fly shinys

You're assuming no one will strap on their autism helmet and go out of their way to hunt you, especially after posting your idea on here. EVE is all about strength in numbers m8, you will get **** on if you attempt to do this alone. Engagement with the locals? Good thing people have e-honor and won't bring falcon alts or logi. Run sites then? Surely no one will combat probe you.
You're playing the wrong game if you think you can stand up against all of EVE on your own. The closest best thing I would recommend is get a T3 and load it up with some fits and a depot for refit then daytrip to null or something.

To everyone else, Thanks for the support and ideas just about done with my loadout and getting things done logistically! Hopefully it goes well, hopefully you wont see me on the killboards soon xD |

Playing it wrong is the best way of playing it. You just have to realise that it is indeed wrong and be challenged rather than angry when the game refuses to throw you even the slightest sliver of a bone.
