I was discussing with some of my corpmates ideas for new things for the Aurum store, and I feel like we came up with some solid ones.
First, novelty ammo. Specifically, snowballs and fireworks. Everyone gets some of these for free, so why not let us purchase extras off the Aurum store when we run out?
Second, is "effect boosters". The idea is, these would be boosters you pop to get temporary graphical effects, we came up with a few examples:
- Change your thruster color to another race, or possibly something unique (RAINBOW THRUSTERS)
- Make your missiles use the old "giant balls of light" animation
- Change the color of your lasers
- Make your lasers fire with a random color every volley, regardless of ammo loaded
I'm sure there are plenty of other neat ways these two concepts could be applied, and I know that I would be one of the first in line to buy some of these. |

Half of those are lifted directly out of the CSM minutes, with CCP saying those are what they are looking to add and need to work out pricing.
So...kind of a redundant thread, don't you think? |

Engine thrust effects are currently under revamping from CCP (demo vid was amazing!), so that might not be available for that just yet.
As a general rule I personally have with suggested items for NES, vanity only and I'm game. The only question would be dev time and cost on the engine. I haven't read (nor does everone read) the CSM minutes either, but I'm glad to hear that some of these have been suggested. More 4th or July and other various celebratory items would be a good addition to NES.
+1, whether it's already on the table or not.
