I just wanted to see if the skin that is currently on SiSi is the skin that will be given out on TQ.
As far as I can tell, it is just a shinier version of the exact same skin currently on the ships. If you do not compare the two side by side, then you have no idea that it is even special.

So.... CCP I love you, but to take this long to get the AT prize skins out seems kind of silly. Unless there is something I don't know about how much effort and time it takes to make a skin? especially considering 2 prize ships already have a skin very similar? Couldn't this have been ready for the end of the tournament? I realize CCP makes no money from these, but cmon now... assign some man hours to this and release them. pretty please. |

Last year it was more of an afterthought to encourage more people to join the AT and to have something to show for it if teams did not place in the top 3. The fact that it took so long last year is a bit understandable considering the more or less last minute decision. This year, however, they went into it knowing they would release the skins. I can't see why it couldn't be ready at or near the same time as the prize ships themselves. I could be wrong, maybe it takes a couple months to make a skin... but i doubt it. |
