If you want hybrids, the proteus would probably serve you better.

They're basically optimal for the ship, its bonuses, stats and slot layout. -Ed

Aside from the time to impact all the other short comings of missiles can be nullified or minimized. It's actually sick. I would like to see a viable blaster/rail tengu or a mini falcon, but it's too damn good with missiles it will never happen.

I wish railgun tengu and drone proteus were viable. it's an even worse version of tiers than the tiering of t1 frigates. for a ship that is supposedly suppose to be able to adapt and change depending on the situation, the % of people that actually switch subsystems other than just best offensive to covert and back are slim to none. i'll add the jack of trades loki, to Ether's list above to just being completely sub par, when they are just as race tied and specific as their cookie cutter counter parts. the legion's HAM varient i won't consider in the same category since you almost see as many HAM legions as you do laser ones - mostly due to the laser one just being not that great.

I wish railgun tengu and drone proteus were viable. Since Missiles are also some Gallente weapon system, I'd rather like some Ham's/HM's sub with thermal bonus, speed bonus. I'd love to see it happen rather than drones because has it stands right now with only 5 drones and since the size of those is limited to drone bay and bandwidth , would make a just better myrmidon and such a worst Proteus. I'm looking forward to see Roden give it some sub 5 ham's/hm's launchers, thermal dmg bonus, speed bonus.
