Okay. so some may remember my over the top, Excess faction fitted Pilgrim which I bought cuz welll... I could. XD
but Ive brought it to 0.0 and Im curious about taking it out to RAT.
Im thinking of this
Highs: 2x DB NOS, 2x Med Diminishing NOS
Mids:T2 10MN AB, TDs for those BSes (though i havent seen them shoot me. Only with missiles)
Lows: 1x TS MAR, 1x Top Named MAR, and the rest will be Thermic and Reflective Membrances to boost my EM & Therm resist.
and no, I wont say what system Im in. But I will say it has a low enough amount of people that if local jumps, I instantly warp and dock at the station nearby

As for the setup, sell the Pilgrim, buy a Curse. If you aren't using the cloak, there's no point in flying a Pilgrim. Get a Curse and get much better NOS, both in range and drain amount.

Retribution. Pick a dead end system one jump from a station system in Stain (tons of empty dead end systems). Drop loot off as it gets collected. Profit.

haha my alliance found a nearby dead end system and we found a secret ore belt last night. FUn stuff.
but yea. <.< I like dead end systems in 0.0
You can lock down the gate with several Mobile Warp Bubbles, keep a BB or Carrier/Mothership nearby and you can effectivly defend it
Ohh and the Curse has a worse Tank than the Pilgrim. 4 lows compared to the Pilgrim's 5 lows

tbh I'd use a arby since it's drones are every bit as effective, and if it goes boom, who really cares.

because an Arby doesnt have the boosted resists
and I cant go hunting NPCing battleships since all of THOSE are friendlies to me, and only hostiles are raiding parties. But I missed a Neutral kestrel just yesterday

Train HAC lvl1 and get your self a Zealot to rat in...Besides that i am surprised that you cannot tank 3xBS spawn in a cruiser, just your speed should be enough to tank them.
However i am even more surprised that your pilgrim survived this long with such sucky piloting skills that you claim to have

HI: 3x medium pulse laser 2
covert ops cloak
MED: 10mn MWD 4x cap recharge
LOW: Medium armor rep, 3x hardeners, cap power relay.
There is no need for nos on a npcing pilgrim, you will be able to run the armor 24/7 anyway.

Ive used the above setup against 3x 1.8mill rats of both guristas and serpentis with no problems.

You should try to squeeze at least one NOS on there, as it reduces the NPC's tank to a noticable degree.

Get a shield tanked launcher curse. If you want to spend lots of dough on it you can get a sexy faction shield tank.

curse works great, use those turret disruptors, and the battleships will not hit you. Arbie can do it on paper...but the cruisers will hurt like hell.
takes awhile to kill anything with just drones tho.
