Specifically, I have a brand new Prowler. It comes with a +2 Warp Strength special bonus. I presume that if I add a WCS I can boost that to +3. The thing is, if I add another, will it then boost to +4 etc. ?
Am I allowed to say that ? |

WCS is not stack penalized. Put as many as you want/can.

I'm glad they're not penalised, but will I also get the full benefit of every stacked WCS ?

Yes, but expect your locking range and speed to plummet.

Thx for the response guys. With Warp To 0 speed isn't the issue it used to be; not for a hauler at any rate.
Is it ?

The only place your WCS is useful is at the origin of every warp-- You are 15 km from gate, and you probably can't make it back in time, so you have to warp.

It protects you from getting quickly scrambled by an interceptor or two at a gate. It won't protect you from an Interdictor bubble though, so fit a microwarp drive.

Now here's something new. An "interdictor bubble" ? I just looked up Interdictors and the info's a little short on specifics. Can someone clarify ?

Warp disruption and interdictor bubbles are an area of effect thing that prevents warping from the inside and pulls people from warp to the near edge. If you warp to a bubble from somewhere else, you land a few km from the edge. Bubble ignores WCS.
They can only be used in true 0.0 (i.e. non-empire spaces). Unless you venture into those lawless spaces, you do not have to worry about them.

An interdictor is a ship which can launch 'inderdiction sphere', a special kind of warp disruption field that lasts 3 minutes and is instantly deployed. It has a 20km radius of area in which a ship cannot engage warp.
Look up interdiction sphere launcher and warp disruption probe -=^=-
