Hello, I currently Have a myrm Up in 1.8 space but unfortuantly i cant bringe it to where my corp operates because of constant gate camps and Pirating on the way to the System... I am Thinking of selling it and rebuying it down in 0.0 But I have athe question... Whats A better ratter and whats a better pvper. I have 10 Million before i sell my myrm And ill have 60 million after because i can sell Nicely. The price of a myrm In the 0.0 is 57 million and Brutix i can get for about 30-40.
Thank you for any Replys or Comments.

To be honest, I'm not sure you want to fly one if you can't buy another one (and insure it) when yours gets blown up. However, both are good at PvE and PvP, IMO, it just depends on what modules you fit.

Well, they are different styles of battlecruisers.
If you have great drone skills, go for the Myrmidon.
If you have great Gunnery Skills, go for the Brutix.
They are both fairly proficient PvP ships, with the edge going to the Myrmidon, IMO...but then again I'm a drone user, and am biased as so. Fit non-cap using guns, and a mean tank, and your in business.
They both can handle rats with ease. ---------------------------------------------------
Rising Sun Coalition is Recruiting! And...we don't smell funny like some other corps. |

PVE > Brutix (better yet, use a Domi) PVP where you wanna tank > Brutix PVP behind enemy lines > Myrmidon __________________________________________________
My views are my own and I don't represent my corp. Please show mercy Drakma! |

Well there is a little more than the drone vs guns going on, but that is the main issue. The myrm has one more low and medium and one less high, and a larger cap. I personally like it better because I have the drone skills and it makes a better tank. On another note, the extra low and mid make it pretty nice for pvp too.

The Myrmidon does not have a hybrid damage bonus so fitting projectiel turrets really has no downside other than base damage difference between them and hyrbids. Either way I think it depends how you plan on fitting the ship, if you have several nos and an injector then I'd imagine that you would have enough cap that running 3-4 blasters would not be an issue at all.
