Just bought a Prowler. For those not acquainted with it, it's a T2 transport, and it has 2 high level slots. What can I put in those slots that the average pirate won't just laugh at?
Smart bombs ? Can they be loaded from the cargo bay or have you shot your bolt when you fire the 1st one
Am I allowed to say that ? |

Imp Cloak II and that's it. A Prowler's all about running away and hiding. It's got a decent tank for a non-combat ship, but don't fall into the trap of mounting a turret or launcher and trying to slug it out with a would-be pirate. Anyone trying to take down a Prowler is going to have a lot more firepower than you'll have.
Maybe a launcher loaded with Defenders, but that's about it.

a well-runned prowler does't even need a cloak tbh

Excellent idea guys. Thanks.
Of course it's not perfect. Ideally I'd have preferred something that ripped off their genitalia and nailed them to my mantelpiece; but hey, we all have to compromise.
I notice that the cloak comes with a 75% speed penalty though. What happens if you fit 2? You go backwards?
Am I allowed to say that ? |

actually I have no idea but a cloak is good but if you do get cought you could maybe have a nos fitted so you might last a few more seconds while gate guns take them out hopfully 
Havn't got a prowler yet but have been looking at getting one so was kinda wondering the same thing. Nos was just something I though of.

HI: Dread Guristas Cloak / Tractor Beam(incase im cruisin along and see a can in 0.0)
MID: named MWD(Y-T8 i think it is) / small shield booster II / t2 booster amp(or named) ... really though, the mids are up to the pilot
LOW: depends on what im doing .. really hostile haul and i'll throw in 2 warp stabs or 2 inertial stabs .. ive run blockades with xpanders though also, so its all in skill .. just pray for no bubbles
love the ship, fits its role perfect .. best investment so far in my 3+ years in eve(personal opinion ofcourse)
cloak is important for running through 0.0 .. never know when you will jump into a system with 300 hostiles that have probes

Speed penalty applies only when you are cloaked.

An Improved Cloaking II and a tractor beam is the way to go. In the meds go with 2XCap Rechargers and 1X Named 10MN mwd and 2 nano's in the lows. You can put shield mods instead of the cap rechargers, but I use those to sustain the mwd as long as possible. You will have little PG for anything else.
If there is a big gate camp or bubble, simply flash the mwd and cloak immediately. By the time the mwd turns off you will have moved a sufficient distance that their attempts to decloak you have become futile.
Grats on the prowler. Its a really sweet ship. I was really sad I had to sell the bpo, but its cheap and hard to make money off of.
