Ok, my first question is: Do you know of a good pirate guild I can join, that gives out free frigates and, systems possibly, and do you know how I can contact them? Second, can a pirate be attacked by another pirate, and what happens when that does happen? Third, how do I raise my attributes? Fourth, what are good prices for each type of EW system? Fifth, what kind of ships will I expect to mostly attack, and how difficult will it be to take down each type? Thanks.

1) They're mostly called "corporations" in eve. And with "systems" i believe, you talk about modules. I dont know any corp that would hand out whole systems (you know, planets and stuff) to beginners. 2)Yeah sure, everybody can shoot everything. Consequences might differ. 2b) They attack each other. Outcome may differ. 3) The "Learning" skills raise your attributes. 4) That would be a whole buttload to type and vary from region to region. 5) Should depend on you. 6) Depends on you and the other guy(s) and his/her/their ships/skills/setups/decisions/numbers compared to yours.

Seriously m8, you seem like a total "newbie" (if thats the kind way of calling someone a noob, no harm ment by it, we all was one once).
But abit of advice, play the game & learn as you go along.. Not many pirate corps will take you on, only new wannabe pirate corps, who are desperate for members. Although I heard Sniggwaffe are recruiting/training younger people (S******dly/Sniggwaffe are good corps, so I aint saying they are desperate, as they surley aint).
But back to the whole point, learn as you go along, there s a great channel called "Help" (in-game), that if you have any questions just pop in an ask.
Anyways, hope your days in piracy are good. Yarrrr

Yes, n00blet I am to this game. But thanks for the advice. I should just learn as I go along in a game...I started like, say, at least 10 forum posts in the last three days. Lol.

There is a corporation recruiting section here in the eve-o forums as well as a recruitment channel in-game. Lots of good pirate corps take pilots whose age is measured in days rather than months or years.
The fact is with 1-2weeks focused training and a T1 frig/cruiser with T1 weapons, you CAN go out and pirate. Don't let anyone dissuade you from the path you appear to want to take.
I would suggest the rifter. Its a fun little friggie, autocannons/rockets are effective, speed tank takes less SPs than armor/shield tanking, and its cheap. The bleeder punisher setup is also effective. Look in the stickies of the ships section of this forum for specific pvp setups. Then look at the skills you would need to pilot these ships.
Expect to lose ships, just make sure you learn from it. Use Fraps or another screen recording program and record your fights. Watch them a few times and find areas you could improve in.
Learning skills increase your attributes which in turn decreases your training time. My personal opinion: Don't do these until 1 month of playing time. They are boring. Train the skills up that will make the game FUN. Worry about efficient training times later, when the game is enjoyable.
**Its a proven fact that you increase your chance of success in pirating by saying "yarr" in local after each kill.**

Check out Eve University (linked in my sig). They have a strict no-pirating policy but they will also give you an enormous amount of knowledge that you can then use once you "graduate" from the corp.
I hear Sniggwaffe is good too.

what you mentioned seems to be the new age of piracy, most pirates now seem to only want to fight battles that they KNOW they can win...

no, that's how piracy has always been. pretty much. pirates have no idea what they're going up against, who's on the other side of the next stargate, who's logged off at a SS in system, what jammer drones the target has in his bay... piracy is a world of uncertainty with one exception - it is certain that if you do not know you will succeed, you won't. that said, that's what differentiates pirates from 0.0 alliances and anti-pirates. pirates fight to win, everyone else fights to fight. fighting to win includes underhanded tactics, ECMing, bringing more people than is necessary (i don't consider it blobbing when the other side has a blob too) etc. pirates earn their livelihood either by pirating entirely or by pirating with a side of NPCing or missioning. would you go into your job every day if there was only a 50% chance you'd make money, and the other 50% of the time you'd get your car blown up and have to walk home?

Yes you can. As both ships will probably be aligned already they will automatically warp out as soon as they reach warp speed.

Actually, we don't accept nubs.
Membership into Mafia requires 10 million skill pt minimum. I'm sure the other Corps in Pirate Coalition have requirements as well.
We are interested in quality more than quantity, unlike alot of the other Pirate Corps out there.

Which Corp is your alt in? And if we suck so much, why are you even associated with us? Just curious.

My guess? The only reason he's there is to make you suck (note I am not suggesting you do). With a little effort, you can hamper even the best operation. Either that or it's so he knows where you're at so he can mine in peace.

Judging from what he said, I highly doubt he has an Alt in Pirate Coalition. Personally, I think his dislike and hate for us comes from the strong possibility that he has been raped by us in the past
Also did some research on his historic posts, and this guy is loaded. Anyone who can throw around 27 Billion isk bids wouldn't just have an alt sit in a small Pirate Alliance that he thinks "sucks".
