Proper Procedure?
:D wonder how many people thought that'd be a joke url? :D nah I'm just wondering if thats the best way to go about probing, and how would I go about finding something if its in that huge area to the right where I cant reach?
edit: btw >:O I DIDNT FIND ANYTHING... and multispectral said there should be something >:[

Oh well: Try dropping one Quest at every planet, except of course in the center where they overlap. Exploration sites tend to be around warpable objects, at least as far as I have experienced to date.
If you can't find anything, train up your skills for signal strength, astrometric triangulation I think it is?

Out here at this outpost I'm based out of in 0.0, they sell for 50-60k ea., but if I go a couple jumps into empire they are 600k ea. and in jita they are 125-150k ea...
And right as I was about to post this, most of the probes in the outpost have been bought and replaced on the market at 600k ea :P

Well yeah I suppose if you're an indy corp in an alliance with direct access to moon mins probes would be cheaper to produce... I still wish they wouldn't cost so much to make when buying mins... but I'll deem the price acceptable for now.

stront is the main part in probes cost.
it's easy to mine it yourself... prices has risen considerably now.
probe was about 60k pre-patch, now it's about 100k.
