I'm a month into the game. Wondering if it's possible to get pricing across different regions?
All of the skills I see max out a regional visibility.

Sounds like an opportunity.
Anyone ever construct a reporting service? Players in each region collecting prices and publishing the comparisions from a central voice...
Would be worth a lot.

Eve-central is good if you're looking up main stream stuff. However it relies on Player updates.
Now if there was a service to get all empire regions for all "Marketable" items then it would be worth something.
That's the one thing I don't like about Eve-Central is I am looking for pricing of something weird not main stream market and it never seems have them.
If you do create something like this repair to do a LOT of work. Good luck.

I think the primary difficulty/goal would be creating something to piece together an accurate picture of the market just from the market export information. Logging into one/two/three alts wouldn't be that tough, but correctly integrating "new" and "old" information (aka looking at the market history/graph with human eyes) would be the tricky bit.

I wish eve-central had some way you could get hold of the data they have, even if it was older data in say week-sized packages.

Creating something shouldn't be all that hard. It would simply be an alliance with a player in each of the most active regions.
Once a week you take take a report on pricing from each of the charactors, charge everone else for a copy of the report and split the profits between the members.
You could even incorporate and sell shares. If it gets big enough maybe even have an IPO.
Would this work?
