A friend of mine and I have just started playing, and we have a couple questions about gangs. Can you do missions while ganged? Do both get credit for the mission, as well as bounties, and so on?
Also, if we decided to mine together, is ther an easy process for splitting the wealth after selling the refined ore, or is it break out the calculator time?

Edited by: sugark on 22/12/2006 01:44:53 Yes, you can do missions together but only the person who accepted the mission from the agent will get rewards from the agent and has to pass on the share to gangmates. However, bounties get evenly split. Unfortunately LP can not be shared like that. If you mine together it is calculater time indeed.
Edit: In order to have bounties split, a gang mate has to be in the same deadspace pocket/at the same place as the person laying the final blow. ________________________________

There are a few ore calculators out there that can be used for splitting the wealth. just google "eve ore calculator carebear" and you will get a few ore calculators. most are used with excel.
with missions you can use gangs as well, gangs will help you finish missions faster. the thing with missions is that the only guy who the mission is assigned to will get credit for the mission the other guy is just along for the loot and the isk.
gang skills can be used threw both processes. they can help you take more damage and mine more minerals. a pluss. the thing with gang skills is that the guy with the highest skill is the one that sets the bonus. so there is only the need for one of you to train skills. rwar sig Listen to me on bob radio 00:00 eve time every friday and saturday http://stream1.bobonair.com:8000/listen-broadband.aac.m3u or go to www.bobonair.com |
