Vanguard has been successfully deployed on September 29 during an regular downtime.
Vanguard delivers a new set of changes on sovereignty capture mechanics, the highly anticipated Multi-Buy option, new graphical timers, battlecruiser rebalancing, enhanced visuals for stations and ships and much more. The full details of all changes and improvements are available in the Vanguard patch notes.

The projectile and hybrid guns sounds are still buggy while zoomed out, gun sounds go off when zoomed out and guns have a continuance effect of firing. Zooming back in to the ship really close, the guns sounds come back. Also projectile and hybrid gun fire doesn't show even from NPCs. For example, you can zoom into an NPC and the gun fire from your ship doesn't show. |

Wormhole polarization timer makes the same sound as a mobile depot when deployed, or at least too similar. Having some sound is very nice, but it should be unique.

The scanning window now includes its own instance of the star map, supporting Probe scanning to make scanning for new adventures easier. Of course you're on your own when you get there!"

Short and to the point.
Audio is fragged. Sounds missing, dropping out, crackling, etc.
Hybrid turrets, lost audio except in extreme zoom closeup. (S/M/L all effected on my end) Out of charges sound missing. (hey, lemme know it's reload time) Aura in general. (she needs a cough drop or throat spray for all that crackle) Docking 'boom lock' sound acting up again. (will repeat randomly) Asteroids are now silent. (they used to tell me they were depleted)
Also
Cycle green lights still not back in sync with actions from said module. Sometimes using Salvage Module will give a round of turret fire audio. (based in my case on which turrets are fitted. that's one way to break up a wreck i guess!)
Hesitation/delay on the UI when pulling up windows such as Regional Market or Industry is still going on.

Found bug:
Jumping a hs gate with contraband results in the decloak timer getting stuck on 1:00 even when you are freely warping around system. I'm guessing this has to do with an interaction where you get stuck in warp tunnel to interact with the dialogue box. |

In the fleet window, if I click and hold on a character and the choice retical comes up, If you don't make a choice, then it never goes away stays as an overlay on the display - inactive-unusable. I've left station, jumped, docked, it stays, now I have several from testing. |

Not sure if this was intentional, but the new scanning interface we were testing on SiSi is live on TQ and available via the CTRL+Probe Scanner (left click) key combo we were using on Singularity. |

another bug? didnt gas mine for a while, but today after patch, the gas cloud harvester II has no more graphic and sound effects. no beam, no sound. dont know about the t1 or named.

Okay buggiest release since long time i suspect.
When i dockup i only see a blackscreen during my client pretends to load some stuff from internet. I see the circle left down doing his rounds. Despite the fact i load always the complete patch before first logging in. I can operate normal in the hangars. i can see my ship maybe after 2-5 minutes. Maybe.
I had a slow connection a few minutes. After a jump during that i hung a long time in that ugly jumping screen my ship warped away 1m km from gate. The jump timer stood still on one minute until i jumped to next system. |

A bug seems to exist, with the radial menu for bookmarks in People&places.
If you log in, and go to people&places, and click&hold on a bookmark, the radial menu appears, but does not disappear when releasing the mouse button.
If you log in, undock ship, then go to click&hold bookmarks, it functions normally. Even if you then redock.

After testing a little, some subsystem combinations work just fine texture wise, but the submodule combination I had fitted when I installed the upgrade make it turn black again |

in the patch notes the role bonus for the Myrmidon is:
Role Bonus: 12.5% bonus to Drone max velocity Can fit Warfare Link modules
in game, it is stated as : 12.5% bonus to Drone microwarp velocity
I am assuming that this may be a typo, but if anyone can confirm that it is still 'max velocity' that would be wonderful.
just did a mission and my drones didn't seem to take a hit to their velocity, but the mission was pretty easy so I really don't know.

Drones mwd unless they are in orbit firimg on target. Why would you want them to have an overall speed increase? They already have trackimg issues hitting small targets as the drone size increases. They wouldn't be able to hit anything if they were going super fast.
Ots just their speed to get to target increased.
Go read the original devblog on it/fozzie post and stop being ignorant.

before latest update, there would be a (very) faint line when you moused over a turret pointing to which roid it was mining making it easy to know when to cut a cycle short. this doesn't happen now so wasting cycles.

This is the same issue as the Asteroid depleted audible notifcation that is listed in known issue. It is fixed internally and will be fixed on TQ tomorrow.

When using the multi-sell window and clicking the "view item market data" button the market window will no longer pop up when minimized, but will still stay minimized, even though the item in question is opened in the window. Is this intentional? Extremely annoying when trading IMO. |

We've noticed a problem tonight with ship names.
We've asked people to change ship names a few times, and they claim to have done so, but after a few minutes the ship name appearing on D-scan has reverted to the previous name - though the ship name the pilot sees appears unchanged.
In WH space, this has led to much hilarity...
If this persists, I'll try to get screen shots to confirm. |

Another for the jump cloak timer bugged. Submitted bug report EBR-49728.
It appears that it shows up if you go into emergency warp before loading a system. It might also be tied to packet loss or something ... I got it to show up by using most of my bandwidth on a Steam download. |

When beginning to warp and immediately engaging my covert ops cloak, the blockade runner will appear decloaked for a second or so between the animation of the cloak engaging and the cloak stabilizing as on. This only started after the Vangard deployment. I have a Radeon R7 200 video card and running Windows 10 if that helps. |

Bugs:
My turrets are still silent unless zoomed in so close I can see asteroid belt bugs on the windshield. Projectiles need their brakka back, as do hybrids with their bark. If lasers can pew (unreliable at the moment), other turrets need their awesome returned plz.
Return of audio that was muted is spotty for asteroid depleted and out of charges. It's a diceroll if it will happen or not.
Launcher. Again. Check shared resources rescache loop each launch. Come on! Fixie the Launcher then don't break it again.
Flavor Text still missing from Region Description, and many of the modules. Return my reading material, going over the same Bio's is monotonous.
When did the Maelstrom get a stealth black paintjob? It's intermittent like with the returned audio. Sometimes a paintjob, other times an ominous black hole in space. And yes, I'm clearing cache each logout.
The green cycle light on a module may or may not be in sync with what the module is doing. Makes timing movement for distances while salvaging a little irritating. Salvagers so far are having the worst sync problem on my end but they are not alone with this bug.

I had posted this in the feedback thread initially as I was unsure if it was just me, but the launcher continually rechecking the shared resource cache is an absolute ballache. Wanting to play the game and then having to wait up to 12 minutes for it to finish checking (yes, i was sad enough to actually time it), is a joke. Why is it every patch you fck this up? |

Since the update, I've noticed that the capacitor display sometimes goes blank - even though the capacitor is charged. (Mouse over shows the correct values). This can be very confusing, since it appears the cap is depleted. |

Because that's a bug that has been fixed and the fix will be deployed soon If not, please file a bugreport and we'll check it out

Perhaps those books are not available in that station? Skillbooks are the items I have been using most while testing the feature and now have hundreds of them in my hangar. If you are having issues with it (that don't have to do with the books just not being available), please file a bugreport so we can take a look

Vanguard update on my PC failed in a very displeasant manner, that was not seen since beginning of 2015 with the overview and settings repeated corruptions (or even worse, the installation wreckage of end 2014 that forced me several from-scratch installations in a month).
Latest update broke my client one week ago. I did'nt have the time to get into it, but finally did and it was a bad experience: - the EVE executable goes to a black screen, you can only bring the menu and exit - clear the caches does'nt work - the repair client fails with an error telling there's no SSL - wiki tells that repair client is of no longer use - delete the launcher and download the launcher updater solves nothing
Finally, I had to start EVE in failsafe mode and the launcher re-downloaded over 1.5 Gb of data after a very lengthy check of the ressources (good point: safe mode did something this time, I thought it was just ignoring the settings).
Update that breaks the client so badly didn't happen since a looong time and I am a bit disappointed. I guess next time I'll try to launch safe mode as a preventive approach. I'm a bit anxious regarding the incoming new launcher if it means again breaking the client or its data, I have read some eve mails already telling that it would be some awkward file-copy-backup party. I really hope that it won't be that way :( |

Playing 3 clients on same PC today and lost my connection. Checked my email to see I have a message from support talking of a black screen issue connected to skill training which can be circumvented by logging in, pausing your training and restarting it.
Logged back in on my main, and never-ending black screen at character select. Can reach the ESC menu (tried everything I could to no avail.) 2 other accounts logged in ok on same PC and did the suggested fix of pausing and restarting skill queue. So far so good. Try to log in again on same PC to main account still black screen. Try to log in to main account on another PC and still black screen. Responded to the email as suggested and still waiting.
Any help would be greatly appreciated |

When assuming control of guns on a POS, everything seems to work fine until you attempt to relinquish control. The POS mod icons stay in place and you can no longer access the local module icons for your ship (guns, shield hardeners, etc). Even after relinquishing control of all POS Guns, warping and jumping through a gate, the overview only displayed POS mods where my ship modules should have been. The function keys (F1, F2, F3 etc.) attempt to activate the pos module instead of the corresponding module on the ship even you are no longer in the POS or even the same system.
In short, POS Gun icons do not go away after relinquishing control until you log off and back on again.
Additionally, if you log out while still having assumed control of POS Guns, you get stuck in place when logging back in. The overview shows your ship modules as normal, but the game acts as though you still have assumed control of the POS modules. I had to right-click on each gun on the POS to look for the one that still thought I had assumed control before it would let me to relinquish control and then warp off. |
