I was wondering whether anyone in the Eve Community did Parkour (otherwise known as Free Running) or anyone who might be able to suggest where I could find more information about starting out and what sort of training I need to be doing in order to take this up.
Thanks in advance all and merry christmas in advance.

There should be a wealth of information on google concerning parkour, and especially all aspects of fitness that are related to it. You just need to have a search, really. It's great how much detail has gone into it, it's developing very fast.

Parkour really isn't free running though. You'd get flamed by parkours for saying such a thing :p
Parkour is just efficiently getting from A to B, not being stopped by any obstacles. Free Running is the same, but with backflips and such stuff.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=515642196227308929&q=parkour Parkour video with easily my favorite song at the beginning. I was almost getting into this when I had a spinal surgery, and despite how flexible I STILL am I really can't do stuff like that without risking *****ing and/or paralyzing myself from the legs down =( -----

I have been doing it for 5 months. Most important:to be able to run, jump and land. You need to work out the muscles of the leg (all of them). The ones that move the foot(most used for tricks) up and down and same for the tibia and thigh. Then you need balance, practice walking on rails and 4 legs walks. thats all about it, practice, practice, practice dont do crazy stuff.
