Phoenix Propulsion Laboratories (Ticker: PPL) is a manufacturing and production corporation that offers the citizens of EVE many ship chassis from frigates to Tech II to the Capital Class ships. For the builder in training, we also offer a huge selection of BPCs.
If you are interesting in mining, manufacturing, production, research & development, or combat in a very unique environment, Phoenix Propulsion Labs may be the right home for you.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Phoenix Propulsion Labs has been structured around simple principles of socialism and discipline. The majority of PPL's funds comes from the sale of ships and BPCs. All profit made from these sales goes directly into the corporate coffer. Furthermore, all members of PPL contribute ISK from their activities in-game whether it is mining, missioning, or trading. In turn, all members of the corporation have their equipment, ship, and skill packs furnished by the corporation on an as needed basis.
Even though we are primarily a manufacturing & production corporation, we have not lost sight of the most important factors in any MMORPG experience. Fun, achievement and entertainment! While PPL works hard towards it goals, we always remember that this is a game that each of us chooses to play. Without having fun as well as a sense of achievement, the prospect of slaving away for hours to produce a ship or make profit becomes rather bleak. Phoenix Propulsion Labs firmly believes that real life comes first. We do not expect you to come on and mine if its your night to watch the kids, nor do we expect you to choose participating in a corporate event over spending time with a real life loved one.
We hold our employees in extremely high regard. We do not believe that our employees are just a faceless number. We believe they are as important as the minerals they mine, or the blueprints they research or the ships they produce. We are all for expression and creative thinking, yet doing so in a manner respectful to the other employees around you.
RECRUITMENT INFORMATION
While PPL does not discriminate based on character race, there are a couple of requirements to becoming a member:
1) Players must be over 18 - We operate in a strict military environment which requires a certain level of maturity.
2) Characters must be older than 60 days - Because of the strict way we work, we recommend that you experience some of what EVE has to offer before coming to join us.
3) All players start at Cadet - Whether you were an agent runner or a CEO in your previous corp, everyone in PPL starts as a Cadet in Mining and Transport. While we have other divisions, you must make it to Ensign rank before you become eligible for transfer.

I'm a very satisfied customer of PPL, most of my bigger ship purchases I always make with them.
I enjoy talking to them, they're nice, warm and professional folks.

I can say from experience (1.5 years with this group) that PPL is an absolutely amazing group to play with. Whether you are a new player or an old player, you WILL learn something from these guys, and you'll have an awesome time doing it.
They say that you have to be 60 days old in the game, but really this means that they just want you to have had that 1-2 month period of "WTF? how do i control my ship" etc.
PPL is a family, they have been and continue to be very close friends of mine. I would highly suggest that anyone looking for a close-knit group or a place to start off in the game consider applying for membership with them. You won't regret it.

I can attest that this corp has everything you are looking for. We offer industry or pvp which ever your taste is. We have a great team atmosphere! We have regularly scheduled ops that are for the most part optional to participate in.
I have been in the corp for a almost a year now and am quite pleased with the progress I have seen in that year! =) Come on and see where all the fun is!!!!

PPL, a great place to be. I've been in PPL since it's inception and I tell you, there isn't anywhere I'd rather be. EVE is just another MMORPG and the player corps are what make it "THE" MMORPG for me, all else faulter in it's presents. It may even be the sence of Family and the way PPL does things that makes this game so great.
What more could you ask for from a corp?

It'll be a year at the end of this month since I joined PPL. And it's been the smartest move I've done. PPL is first and foremost a dedicated bunch of folks who strive to out do themselves and who unite to achieve great things way and above its size and footprint.
Add to that a plethora of resources and knowledge that will catapult your fun and appreciation of EVE. You'll never be at lost as to what to do next, which skill to train or mission to complete.
Living EVE to its fullest is what PPL has brought me!

We offer a stability not seen often in EVE. You will not be flying alone as a member of PPL. Organized operations are the norm. Well I remember Peau from a few years ago when he was in Hadean.
Don't know what's up with all that but I can at least thumb them up if players with the likes of him are in this corporation.
If they're anything like thier counterparts, then I'd give them a go if you're considering a place to stay in EVE.
Can't do wrong since they have a focus and goals.

This is an excellent group of people to fly with. If you're looking for a corporation that values quality over skillpoints, that gives you the tools to grow in any direction you choose to take your character, and most importantly makes you feel like you're more then just a number on the CEO's spreadsheets, PPL is the corporation for you.
