Hello
I deployed small POS in empire.
Is it possible to setup labs to be available for other players?
Players are not members of my corp nor in same aliance.
If yes, please can you explain what and where do I need to setup in order to give them access. I tried to make it available public (on standing basis) in "manage assembly line" area, but my friend from other corp still cant see my lab when try to research his BPO.
He tried to do it docked, undocked, near lab, etc..
We both have lab op skill at 4, and trained lab networking skill at l1.
Is it possible at all to have BPO in station and to research it in mobile lab?
I tried to do that but then my client get stucked at neverending "calculating quota" stage...

At the moment it's not possible due to (Believe it or not) mobile labs only accepting jobs from corp hangars. Although that might change soonish (So I hope :()

IMO, in POS mobile lab IS option to allow that, but it is bugged atm.

Also, just out of curiosity, how many jobs can one person field at a mobile lab? Is it dependant on your skills for the number of slots you can use?

it is skills related for max usuable. you have one to start with, a further 5 for laboratory operation and then another five for advanced laboratory operation.
so max of 11 but as advanced skill is a rank 8 thats a beast of train, and a lot of days just to get it to lv4

Remote copy (alliance) has been taken off line. new jobs cannot be started. any jobs currently in, when they finish and the delivery button is hit, will go into limbo. They will be released by petition only and then placed into your corp CEO hanger (why?? I asked the same thing the last 3 petitions i put in to get my BPC - with out an answer).
Remote ME/PE works from the corp hanger only, and is returned to the same hanger slot is was started from. Remember, with the new patch, alot of the roles have been jumbled and if you were once able to "take" from a hanger, you might not be able to now. check it first.
Remote invention didn't work for me, so not sure if it does. I only tried it 1 time.
Now, as for non-corp/allaince people using a mob lab. It must be done remotely from their corp hanger in the system (by Skill). The labs must be set to public,and the fee set by the owners (this is accessed by the instilation tab and clicking on the specified slot. (doing this from memory so I might be a tab off or the name might not be exact)) In the lower right side of the job pop-up is where the settings for the slot is located.
*just a note on this, I am not sure of the effect if you place your expensive BPO into a public (PC owned) POS, and they close it down, it goes offline OR if the ceo of that corp could remove the access. I do not know the disposition of the bpo if this happens.. *

you basicly saying
if i set the moblab puplic
then another corp can see it and research from their corp hangar in the same system in my public lab ?
that would be great =)

correct, with the shortage of research slots in NPC station there are plenty of groups out there offering this service. Just join the blueprint channel, there is always someone advertising. I personally have never set that up, but I run 5 POS's, and see the setting for the public options.
I hope my comments have answered the posts originators questions.
