I got jumped at a poco this morning. I didn't panic. I hit the damage control, and the hardeners immediately instead of forgetting about them completely. I micro jumped out of web range, aligned to a book mark, and warped out unscathed.
I've gone from skulking around and avoiding camps to going about my business with impunity.
Man, I'm having a blast.

i was flying Orca once... routine flight within high sec, but it was Placid i think or somewhere around that area, i wasn't afk cause i was moving two legions and faction mods for them  but it was midnight and i miss clicked the gate name... and right after gate activated i found myself in low sec  oh boy what a feeling! i got adrenalin ignitor activated with alarm beacon in my head...

I measure my success on how many BPO's I own ... which right now isn't enough sadly. I need more! I need them all! Does that count though?

After several subbed-unsub-resub itterations I finally feel like I am successful in game. It comes from that I can make more isk than I lose. I get a big in me to do something stupid from time to time, now I just don't regret it afterwards. I have great fun making people scratch their heads going "What was he thinking". Of course the great fun is when I can surprise the hell out of someone doing the Unexpected...but that usually doesn't go so well for me.
You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friends nose.
Unless you podded them...and collected their corpse.
