Hi guys, once again it's approaching the time for me to spread some Christmas cheer.
Greetings all,
On Dec 14th, 2015, I will host the fourth annual Christmas giveaway event in a solar system to be announced at a later date.
the first event was posted HERE in 2012 and the second was posted HERE in 2013 and last year's event posted HERE
it is my sincerest hope that this year will be even bigger and better than last year.
We have also been told that a special guest (or maybe more) who will be joining us to participate in spreading the joy, fun and spirit of the holiday season.
The planned events for this year are:
(in no particular order)
1. The annual Rookieship brawl where 5 pilots from each race battle it out in a "Last Pilot Standing" battle to claim the title of BEST PILOT, the glory for their race, and the prize of a PLEX.

2. The "Ship Scramble" where pilots will be given "some" warning to be ready and one of my helpers will leave (or jettison) a fully fit ship out in space generally within sight of the station (but not warp to range) and pilots will scramble to be the first one into the ship to claim it. this event will be repeated throughout the event based on the number of people who show up in the system and the number of fitted ships we have that evening.
3. A "Can Hunt" where some pilots can put their scanning skills to good use to locate a can in space that will contain a prize.
4. Cansplosion!!!!! I'll left you folks guess about this one *wink*. Hint: you don't blow up the cans
5. Frigate races for a prize... (self explanatory I hope)
Giveaways in station, giveaways in local, conga lines, EvE trivia and more are all awaiting this year's attendees.
Each year, my main and his corp have provided items for this event, and each year the event has been made more than what it would have been by those of you who have donated to the cause, so, this year, if anyone would like to donate items, ships, or even iskies toward the event, please feel free to send or contract them to me.
As was the rule last year, please make sure that the item is in .5 or higher security systems (not high sec islands please) and the folks who have offered to haul them to the event site for me will do so.
as always, I have no intention of keeping items or isks for myself and should the case arise where there are extra things, they will carry over to the following year's event.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format.

More presents arrived today
and a "Dominix Quafe SKIN (Permanent)" has been added to the prize pool for the winner of the free for all brawl, not to mention that one lucky person may find one in a can as well.
Currently there are 700 small containers with prizes in them, along with 109 medium containers with prizes and 172 large containers with prizes in them.
there are 3 assembled and fit ships, 2 or which are special ships that there are no blueprints for, and one that is setup in a rather unique way

to be honest, the date was more important than the day itself.
The 14th is the first day of the 12 days of Christmas, also, we did it closer to Christmas Day the first time and many folks missed out because they were traveling, or there were other events going on.
we decided on the 14th due to the date's importance, and the likelihood that it wouldn't conflict with the schedules of most folks.

yes, we were starting at 8:00 PM EST in previous years, this year, we are starting at 15:00 - ish EvE time and will go until all of the prizes have been given out, or until there's no one left who hasn't gotten a prize yet.

And skins aint a price, thats just overpriced makeup... you can put red lipstick on a pig, but it dont change the fact that its still a pig. |

we have events for all types of players, x games, trivia, frigate races... can hunts.
No one is left out and if you mean that the domi skins aren't a real prize?, they currently have a market value of over 500 million, so, that's nothing to sneeze at.
not to mention that they are worth a bit to the person who donated them so that some lucky person might get one.

Each year, my main and his corp have provided items for this event, and each year the event has been made more than what it would have been by those of you who have donated to the cause, so, this year, if anyone would like to donate items, ships, or even iskies toward the event, please feel free to send or contract them to me. As was the rule last year, please make sure that the item is in .5 or higher security systems (not high sec islands please) and the folks who have offered to haul them to the event site for me will do so. as always, I have no intention of keeping items or isks for myself and should the case arise where there are extra things, they will carry over to the following year's event. Thank you so much to all the organizers and contributors to this event! It was a blast of 12 hours, and on a day I just happened to get a call from my boss telling me not to bother coming to work today due to overstaffing. Today rocked, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it.
And enjoy that Raata Sunset Coercer, Santa Spirit. You deserve it. An Ibis is no proper ship to serve as Santa's Sleigh! Can't even fit 8 tiny festival launchers to speread holiday cheer!
And thank you too, Santa's lil Elf and Santa's Other Elf. You did so much to make this even run smoothly on the ground. |

It was a fun event this year again. 
Although it would help to have a rough time table when each event is supposed to start. 12 hours are quite some time to pass with station spinning and fireworks. |

A BIG thank you to you, Santa, and to all your helpers--Santa's lil Elf, Santa's other Elf, bcs1, and CCP LeeLoo come to mind--for a really fun day. I had a blast all day long with the events and the fireworks, and some great local chat during the times between events. This was my first time at the festival, and I'm already looking forward to next year's event.
And yes, you looked great in "Santa's Sleigh", your Raata skinned coercer. It wasn't until I came to post this that I realized the coercer skin matches your clothing colors almost perfectly. I don't remember right off hand who it was that suggested it, but I can't think of a more appropriate gift for you than the sleigh people banded together to give you.
What if New Eden was a virtual prison and we're convicts in a prison pod somehwere?

People came and went but I and many others were having such a good time we stayed for the whole event!
Thank you for all the presents and prizes (including a plex!) but the real present was engaging in such a nice event in 'Evil Eve' lol.
I only have a few suggestions - I hope they are welcome.
1) Perhaps do on a week-end so more people could stay longer?
2) Don't announce the frigate races until they are ready to go... while the conga line some of us did while waiting was cool, well you know.

Thanks for organising such a nice event, i wasnt able to be online for the whole 12h but i got more then 10. I didnt think i was going to participate in all the events i did and to be thisclose to get a plex. I got a bpc of a paladin and vexor, an amarr cruiser and minmatar destroyer and some other small things but the best prize for me was by far the code for a pirate rookieship. I hope you keep on doing this kindo of events and i hope to be able to give something to the cause next year because a little frigate or destroyer that i may have laying around could be a fine gift for someone that has just started to play EVE. Thanks again to Santa Spirit and all the other helpers especially kelnarn for put up with me ;) |

CCP_LeeLoo has informed me that all prizes were given out. To claim PLEX people need to open their redeeming system and codes I just sent out via in-game mail.
Please note that PLEX tokens will expire on 17th of February, 2016, so people need to pick them up before then.
