As it stand now you can re-customize your hair, eyes, make up/skin tones, clothes, tattoos, piercings and scars for free which is great. But you cannot change any of the shapes of your characters features or the sex of the character.
So I was wondering if CCP has plans to offer a more thorough character re customization for a nominal fee. It's certainly something I would invest in. |

You can pay a fee to change your portrait to another of the same race, bloodline, and gender.
However gender reassignment surgery is seen as an abomination outside of Gallente space and the Gallente do not practice it anymore under threat of annihilation from the other 3 races. Also the Jovians |

Best you are going to get is to petition and ask a GM for one more remap. Probly won't do any good. Just remember, be polite and ask nicely. |

It's not written anywhere but you can petition a gm and ask to be flagged for a re-customization. It's a one time thing though and its gotta be the same race/bloodline. But if they're in the mood and you ask nicely they'll probably chuck one your way.
Although this and on demand remaps are definitely the best use for aur that I can think of. |

You can file a petition and will give you a one-shot resculpt. Otherwise you're not supposed to ask for resculpt unless your avatar is broken or has got a bug.
So... no affordable NEx store... no full-fledged Incarna... no new casual content... no new solo content... no new PvE content...-á

CCP suggested once the Nex for Remaps and the whole Iceland ran out of Torches so don't expect that anytime soon.
On the other hand NeX for re-custom seems quite fair imho. |

Maybe you have still yours from january. Login in, goto Reset settings -> Recustomize Character -> Reset. |

Might cut down the number of Caldari Achura left from before remaps. |

As a hater of the NeX store, I can actually see a reason for it to stay!!
Out of game services such as:
Buying PLEX
Moving characters between accounts
Recycling characters within an account (s.p. go to another character on account and are unallocated - would need to buy skill books of course, hehe imagine the carnage!)
...and that's about it!

You can't change skin tone. I've tried. At least I have never had the option to and I've spent a lot of time looking... just looked again before posting this.

Such an option would be nice, disregard the 12 year olds who want you to play Eve their way (even though they advocate that Eve can be played any way you want and you have to decide).
It's "in the works" though, and will be out eventually. You'll just have to trust me on that one :P |

Yes, create another character on the account of the same race, bloodline, and gender and you can pay CCP $20 to swap the portraits. Personally I'd rather have $20 worth of play time |

I agree at LEAST for re-sizing of what you have. Other-wise I can understand not changing the gender(even if I'd like that <_< >_>).
Yes, internet barbie in a spaceship game. You know people will do it if to fix previous mistakes in the first re-make or to have fun with it. |

Managed to do it reasonably well on a 4 year old Apple laptop. Sounds like people with laggy computers should learn to cut themselves while waiting for the results of each mouse movement to render. The pain keeps your fist from exiting the back of the monitor. |
