I currently have a problem with my pc completely crashing when I sit in a station for more than 5 minutes or so. I can play in huge fleet battles with no problem, can sit out in space for hours at a time, but as soon as I dock and sit in station for 5 minutes or so, that is is. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is, I have cleared my cache twice and that does not help. If anyone has any suggestions on something to do that will help I would appreciate it very much.

well i was nearby first to have this prob right after revelation patch it startet for me.. i tough my pc is gone repair costet me 150 bucks but then found out it was eve i told in forum but all just loled... eve cant crash your pc complete.... and now??? alot of guys haev it and my pc runs fine HA!

EVE crashed clients from earliest beta on.
Turning off sound ingame completely is a good start.
Another problematic computer component are network chipsets, network cards and their drivers.
Try to get the most current mainboard drivers for your equipment.
(Maybe even BIOS, but if you fumble a BIOS update, you can grab a new board for hard cash. I repeat: Do not play around with the BIOS if you do not know what you're doing!)
EVE is the best tool I know to test if your CPU and memory all over your system are rock solid. EVE crashes if you got nearly rock solid components in your computer. MemTest86, nuts'n bolts and all to most other tools alike often do not find those problems.
It is useles sfor testing soundcard and grafic card though as the CPU is doing nearly all the work and because of the very rough sound engine design.

The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing.

I have the same problem for along while now..
i crash assoon as i am docked.
i also crash when i have the logon screen open for to long..
it has the same effect..
there is something totally different about actual flying and being in a station..
I am getting more frustrated by the day....
