I want to be a warlord. But unfortunatly my name is Dust Puppy and can therefore not be a feared warlord (although for weeks people were terrified of called moo!). Another reason for why I can't be a feared warlord is the fact that I like frigates. Despite that I cannot be a feared warlord I can still be a commander of a frigate army.
Now I know not many share my interest in frigates and started thinking who would join a frigate corp. The only answer I came up with is new players who don't have the skill or money to fly cruisers. Now new players will not always be new players and most of them would probably soon or a later want to fly cruisers and then battleships.
So I had this idea about a (sub)corp. The corp would consist mostly of new players, and a few older ones. The older ones would then teach the new players the basic about all they need to know about EVE. The corp would also have a bigger corp as sponsors. The subcorp would provide mostly for itself but have a deal with the bigger corp to provide them with very cheap frigates.
The benefit for the bigger corp would be that the subcorp die... errm fight as a part of the bigger corp (can almost here ppl complaining about $INSERT CORP HERE$ is using newbies for lag). Another benefit would be that once players leave this starter corp then the bigger corp as bigger influence in recruiting them and getting players who (hopefully) know what they're doing.
So is this worst idea ever or could it be implemented. And would any big corp make such a deal?

I love frigs my self, dont like the corp tough. But its a good ide becouse you help new players. Convo me ingame and ill sponsor your corp 1mil when your member count have reach 10.

Interresting idea... I hope your frigates will fight a bit better than those from Endless Corporation...
It's a good idea since it will prevent noobs from becoming carebears 
I'm adding 1M isk for 10 active member too, since it's like fighting the carebear disease 
Galaga (Galaxian - XIF corp) And yes, Olyyy is on our KOS list so she enjoys stirring the "flames" ( 2004.05.25 ) |

 Thank you all for your generous minds. I will hopefully not have to collect those favors unless the corp does really bad in battle for a long period of time. The reason for that is I still want people to earn their things. I donŠt want to make army of leeches

well you're right about that. Mining, trading and other things can be fun for some time but player politics, wars and pirating will be what keep this game fun for a long time.

Start a corp called Huggles and become more famous that m0o then when you see people running like mad back to empire space because they are running from Huggles members on the rampage you will know you have made it.
