I think drones should be included in the Repair window along with the active ship. For example when a drone in your bay it shows up like the all the fitted modules. This would also mean you can click a repair all button.
Currently i only know of removing each drone singlarly and checking if it was the single drone that was damaged while fighting. correct me if im wrong and there is an easier way

There is currently no way to easily see the damage on your drones while in base. Would be nice if there was.

Good idea indeed, and also, I want to be able to transfer drones directly to my drone bay in space. (from loot cans)

Agree on repair part. Also it would be great to show drone/module health status right on the item picture. It's not good when you know what you've launched half-healthy drone when there is ten more left in drone bay.
placing drones into drone-bay is like mounting guns and equipment, so ability to do this in space would ruin gameplay.
