Adhara Segan is a Gallente with 2.8M sp: 1.8M in learning, and the rest in mining-related skills, though I'm not sure I really want him to be a miner. He owns a retriever.
I feel somewhat intimidated by the Eve universe, so I'm looking for a corp that can hold my hand and lead me through the dangers and to the fun, until I get a feel for things on my own. I'm planning to play between 5 and 15 hours a week, mainly between 1500 and 2300 eve time.
In other words, I'm looking for a casual corp that have operations when I'm playing. I can use TS or Vent.
I'd feel at home in a corp with adult (or adult-behaving) members, where the focus is on having fun and playing a game, not on living some sort of second life (though some light RP is fine). I'd prefer a corp free of smack-talk and swearing.
I did play Eve for a while about a year ago, but quit, partly because I didn't feel quite at home in the corp I was in (though it was a nice corp). So I'm giving it another try. =)

If your interested check out PANTH Public. PPI Is a fairly laid back corp that allways needs more miners, you'll also find the folk in the corp to be quite helpful when it comes to tips on what sorts of skills to train for as well as other areas of EVE to expand into if your interests are along that line.
There are also a few mission runners in the corp, and were active generally in US/UK timezones.

Hello Adhara,

Hi Adhara, Do you have the fire needed!
Bridgeburners 9th Squad are currently recruiting to fill positions. We're a small corporation, based in Empire space at the moment, but looking towards making a home where the action is in less secure space soon.
We have a small corporation pot of isk, ships, 0 tax rate and lots of modules, to help out newer pilots.
That said, we are looking for players who are able to sustain themselves when needed and have around 3 mil+ SP, also being active once in a while helps .

What you are looking for is interesting for me, so i guess Midnight Enterprises could be a good option. We do mining and PVE/Ratting for salvaging and also do PvP (anti pirate).

Please take a look at our website where you can find a wealth of information about our Corporation and the Alliance that we are a part of. Ascent of Ages operates out of 0.0 space in the Outer Ring & The Syndicate regions. We have spots for both new and old players, and our older more experienced members are extremely supportive of those who are less experienced in 0.0 space which is something we basically expect of our more experienced members. We are a PvP orientated corporation, but this is not our sole purpose, but our members are required to head the call when our assets are attacked, as we must fight for what we own if we wish to keep it.
There are always PvP operations to join be it with our alliance (R I S E) or our corporation. We generally have 15-20 members online during peak US playtimes, and a little less during European hours. We are looking to expand our ranks with new and old players who wish to PvP, are quite active in Eve Online, and wish to experience 0.0 space. There are plenty of agents to run missions for, we have many high quality asteroid belts to mine a wealth of ISK from, PvP is always around the corner out in 0.0. If you chose to spend sometime in Empire space you can do so without any increased risk as we have no formal war declarations against us.
You would have to get Teamspeak and a microphone to participate in alliance run operations, and really, you are worthless without at least being able to listen to teamspeak commands, but it is only required for PvP operations.
