Hi guys (and possibly gals)
A friends corp has been war decced, if me and some other of my corp memebers are in his corps gang, can we attack the people who declared war on them?
.....just read through and that make little sense. I'll explain like this.
If corp A is at war with corp B can corp C, if ganged with corp B fight corp A with getting CONCORDOKKENED!!!!!?

They gain the ability to attack you as well. But you do not gain the ability to attack them. You may retaliate if attacked, but you can not fire first.

To use your own example:
Corp C cannot attack corp A at random however, corp A can shoot at Corp C whenever they want. Reason: Corp C is ganged with a wartarget of corp A and as such will show up as being a valid war target for Corp A.
Corp A is not ganked with a war target of corp C so Corp C cannot attack freely. As soon as they are attacked, they can defend and attack back.
As soon as Corp A has attacked corp C, corp C can defend and attack back, not sooner.
Good rule of thumb: if they're not showing up with the war colours in your overview, don't shoot. Keep refreshing the overview regularly when Corp A is around in space and fighting so you can quickly see who you can attack.

common practice: talk to your directors and join your m8s corp for the war. shouldnt be a problem to take a 1-2 week break to help a friend.
another way would be to wardec back.

Use remote whatever on your friend while he's being attacked by his war targets and you'll have a swift talk with Concord. --*=*=*--
The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing. by Sharkbait | 2006.09.20 |
