A friend of mine in Singapore and tried to access EVE but got poor connectivity. His trace log shows:

As the trace shows, CCP is routing traffic from Asia through the US (hops 9 and 10). Since the earthquake in Taiwan has damaged the connection between the US and Asia, I ask that CCP look into this routing and consider an alternative route which does not rely on the Pacific pipe. My friend states that other UK site work as normal, that only EVE-O and the cluster is slow. I'm sure my friend is not alone in his frustration over this particular routing of traffic by CCP.

ccp doesn't control their routing. the isp who supports the data center where the server resides do. there is very little ccp could do on this matter. internet routing is very complex. once the the major hubs got problem, there is very little thing people can do to re-route. just wait for a few days till they fix the connection.

Taiwan Earthquakes cut undersea cables

A number of readers submitted reports of Internet slowness to/from Asia. We now know that this is a direct result of up to six submarine cables being severed during a series of temblors off the coast of Taiwan. From Bloomberg:
"Taiwan was jolted by three earthquakes yesterday, killing two people
and injuring 42 others, the island's National Fire Agency said. The
tremors damaged undersea cables, causing a disruption to Internet
traffic and some telephone calls in the region for customers including
Singapore Telecom, PCCW, Chunghwa Telecom Co., Taiwan's biggest
telephone operator, and KDDI Corp., Japan's second-largest telephone
carrier."
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been lost or injured in the quakes and to their friends & families.

Sounds like some pretty fat cables got killed on this one... could be awhile till its fixed.
Like the guy above said, CCP has nothing to do with this. Routing protocols are getting you there as fast as the rest of the net can support.
346ms from Singapore to Iceland isn't a record. But it shouldn't keep you from connecting to servers and maintaining a session unless your trying to complete a VoIP call.
Should still be playable

Upto 3 months before it'll be fixed I think they said, but speeds will improve steadily till then.
