Noragen, Leto, and other honourable members of the jury, I need your assistance to end an ongoing issue.
First of all, you might remember me as Domino Vyse. I sold that toon a little while ago. This is my new main. (I know C&P alt posting rules).
My alt, Jiax has been falsely accused of corporate theft by Vik Arbosa and Quaczarr of 'Bros Before Holes' corporation. They claim that I stole a mere 1.2billion ISK, which I completely refute. Those of you who know me, know that I am an upstanding citizen of space and would never commit any crime, especially theft.
Their corp have been spamming a thread made by Jiax on the Character Bazaar. I won't link it as I don't want this to look like a petty advertisement thread.
Vik Arbosa has since contacted me to demand 3billion ISK, and in return he said he would stop spamming my thread. The problem I have is that their attacks on me are completely unjustified.
I have all necessary evidence to prove attempted extortion, and am happy to mail it to whoever decides to take this case on.
Please could the court investigate this case, and attempt to find evidence to disprove their claims, therefore proving my innocence.

As the Inquisition has primary jurisdiction in J-space, I will open an investigation into the CEO of said "bros before holes" being none other than a Nitshe alt.

this is my proof my story is that he joined bro holes 1 day after I did and u can see that on jiax corp history then I asked if any one can haul loot for me including and a couple of mods and a couple of ships including a rattlesnake with all the mods for it a venture and a couple of thrashers and a few more i offered payment for the transportation so he said yes It was 7 am for me I was up all night It was about to be eve shut down time and I was beat so I wrote jiax and told him I was going to get some sleep and ill be on in a few hrs and I told him to hold for me till I got back on I then returned to an eve mail from him saying " sorry bro. you got done. good luck with all future endeavours. o7 " and as I looked at his profile I seen that he left corp and quackzarr wrote him online in game and asked what happened and he said something along the lines of thanks for the loot and left chat . I have hear 3 screen shots that ive taken today from jiax and 1 of them is what he wrote on another forms page I can get details on that upon request the other two pics are from the pub channel of my corp and of eve mail that he sent me proving that he is a corp theft thank you for the time in reading this and cant waite to be speeking with any of you

What really happened
It was a dark dark day and their were a group of capsuleers sitting around a POS when suddenly one of them said 'Vik, tell us a story' and this is the story he told...
(Holds up Flash light to face for eerie effect, hits play on the CD player)
A outwardly friendly capsuleer by the name of Thermal Damage was bored one day and decided he was going to put his wits against his fellow capsuleers for personal gain. After some time was spent contemplating the best method available to him he decided to go to a favorite tried and tested method and go after a J-Space based Corp and rob them blind. The corp he chose in infiltrate was our own. We have a sophisticated set of hoop jumping and fail safes in place but as Thermal seemed like a friendly lad we decided to put him through just one more test before giving him access to our significant stash of assets. We used the hauling test which he of course failed (Thunder clash in background)...
We decided to take justice into our own hands and the journey took us to some dark places. First up we had some light hearted trolling and banter but then our search for justice took us to the character bazaar. We couldn't let him take optimal payouts for the characters and saw our opportunity for extortion (cackles). After some time we received a boohoo mail from the culprit threatening GM intervention and the cracks were showing as clear as day. We ramped up our efforts and finally we were dragged into the most vile cesspit the EVE-O forums have, C&P. Here the most nefarious crooks and villains congregate. It is also the most honorable section of the forums where there is honor among thieves if you know how to navigate their rules and in-jokes (pauses narration) I recommend this thread for a how to (narration resumes). We decided to agree to the rules of the Court of Crime and Punishment which is NOT TO EVER BE CONFUSED WITH CCP and enlisted the help of Noragen Neirfallas, the usual Judge who agreed to moonlight as our Defense for a modest fee.

I will answer your points in order, and I have snipped some of the non relevant information to shorten the post.
Firstly, Yourmoneymywallet is an expert in the field of scam detection and avoidance. Court systems everywhere utilize testimony of industry experts to determine validity of evidence entered for review. The evidence appears shopped to the expert.
Secondly, also established doctrine by court systems all over, are character witnesses. My testimony about Thermal's participation here was merely that.
Third... The Inquisition does not elect its membership. The position of Lord Inquisitor is held by myself until biomass, ordained by Bob to carry out justice in His name. The Inquisition serves at the courts pleasure, but operates independently.
Lastly... In your attempt to discredit myself, the membership of this court, and the Glorious Inquisition itself, you have presented yourself as a possible Nitshe alt. I must formally request the court to order a special Thunderdome match to determine your guilt. Two ships enter, one ship leaves.

I have two Bachelor degrees from one of my countries most prestigious Universities. I haven't been unemployed for more than two weeks, except while being a full time student. I've never collected EI, even when I was eligible, and am in fact currently at work with a brief lull in office activity granting me the time to check the forums. I work in private education helping my cities students achieve their academic dreams and become contributing members of society.
I dress well (thanks to my wife's excellent fashion sense) and shower daily, twice if I've worked out. While a bit overweight my Doctor tells me not to worry about it, just not to let it go any further.
My musical preferences are a combination orchestral music, symphonies, and Death Metal (if that combination seems unusual to you, I assure you it's very logical). I drive a 2007 fully loaded Honda Accord, it has 160 thousand kilometers on it and is excellent condition. I plan on replacing it with a brand new Accord in another year or two.
But you don't actually care about any of that, you just saw some people having fun on the forum and felt that was unacceptable, you just had to try and squash it, "no fun allowed! Spaceships are serious business!" I imagine you said to yourself in a stoic, emotionless voice.
EDIT: Also I speak both English and French (though my French is weakening with disuse) and I'm learning bits and pieces of Hindi and tiny amounts of Spanish.

I earned my Bachelor's degree two years ago and have been working in a law firm since. I am applying to law schools and after 3 years of grueling work I will be a licensed attorney. Having achieved that as well as 8 years in the military reserves by the age of 29 seems to turn your statement on its head.
If I was going to venture a guess, I'd say that you are the very same person you try to accuse us of being. The only reason your skin hasn't meshed with your suede desk chair is because every few hours you have to pry yourself away from 6 monitors of various video games (because just one at a time doesn't satiate your intense gaming thirst), waddle to the upstairs of your parent's house and expertly swipe another bag of Cool Ranch Doritos from cabinet without knocking over the Twinkies.

I am prior Air Force, currently working to support the Army as a civilian contractor.

I would recommend joining the local volunteer fire department. I have been a volly since I was 16... its a great way to keep busy and help out.

I too already have a meaningful life. I know you wouldn't have imagined someone in his late twenties achieving his third doctorate while having served the full five years in the French foreign legion as well possible despite playing eve! I've never been unemployed, in fact I mostly work two jobs at once and feel like mentioning this here on the forums as well since you're interested.
While mentioning about helping the poor you probably hit my achilles heel though, since I never give money away on charities - I suppose inventing the cure for cancer the other weekend doesn't count? I hardly weigh 200 kg, just 120 kg with around 5% body fat atm. This combined with my fantastic equipment makes me extremely succesful with ladies as well if you know what I mean.
And yet I still find this court session meaningful enough to spend my time on! |

And why is my credibility questioned and I'm suspected of the accusant himself of being an alt? Everybody believes Mr. Arbosa is a main character, when he's only a couple months old. And if Mr. Thermal and the rest of the court is so confident in that belief, they seem to think a supposed "Newbie" takes all the effort to fake evidence in order to hurt the sell value of an established player, that clearly has to have more experience in deception.

It seems that the accuracy of the evidence or possible spoliation is at issue? Perhaps a change in venue is needed? The Inquisition, by definition, does not defer. However I would be open to your ruling on this matter as Judge Noragen seems to have taken too many of the new cerebral boosters..
As it stands, the following matters present themselves to the court:
1) The court must rule on a proposed thunderdome match between the Lord Inquisitor and the newcomer, Not Amarr. If Amarr wishes to sit in service to the court, he must oneveeoneatsun in cruisers vs myself. Thunderdome rules apply.
2) The court must rule on evidence entered as presented. I will urge the court to consider the fact that the CEO in question deleted all his posts and some images after their validity came into question.
3) The court must rule on the prosecutions conditions. The CEO of bros before holes must pay a sum of 3b ISK to Thermal Damage as reparations for defamation of character, or face a fleet of the Inquisition at their doorstep.

This is interesting. I would agree with your assessment. Given your second statement; that the plaintiff in this case knowingly destroyed evidence that has already been entered and cannot meet their burden of proof, then this should be thrown out of court. I feel defense should be compensated for any costs associated with their defense as well, 3B seems like an appropriate sum. This of course, is much different than Adirainin law, whereas the guilty and worthless are exiled to Shadow Cartel. |

This is intentional misinformation. There is no evidence, that this CEO, unless it is the indictee himself, ever postet in this thread.
Ruling on destruction of evidence is a joke. It's still there, if you look at the quotes. Maybe the person in question edited the evidence post out of panic because of bad reputation of the legislatures and misuse of the evidence? The screenshots lack basic safety measures, such as blurring out vital informations like chat windows, system informations etc. that are irrelevant for the current case. Presenting them in this forum, especially after realizing that the accusant, the defender and the judge openly advertise and support each other, is a tragic slip.
The sheer incompetence continues as nobody asks the accused what might have been his motives for this action. The lack of effort after this incident of Mr. Arbosa to further defend himself and prove his authenticity itself is a resignation from dealing with the practises of this court. Without evidence, the accusers accusations are merely hearsay. The accusers posted in ex. 3 their proof which came from their alleged spy. They later deleted this evidence in an attempt to mislead this court

In closing, my client, Thermal Damage, has suffered unwarranted attacks against their personal character, and in the course helped to reveal at least 2 Nitshe alts. The defendant posted some shotty defense, complete with forged mails and convos, and deleted them immediately upon their validity being questioned.
The prosecution asks for the full award of 3 billion ISK, and the courts participation in an Inquisition fleet to be sent to the targets home system in the event payment is not received.

If it please the court, based upon overwhelming evidence during the proceedings of this trial, whereupon many Nitshe alts were brought to light, the defendant's open and remorseless contempt for this very court has been revealed.
Be that as it may, the prosecution's case was not nearly as fun to read as the defendant's, which of course indicates that the attorney for the defense is possessed of much truthiness. Despite the fact that none of our honorable jurors are gonna see a lick of that 25% bribe due to said defendant's aforementioned contempt of our hallowed process, I have no option but to find in favor of the defendant, may Bob have mercy on our souls. (do podders have souls? not really sure...)
Also, Not Amarr really should have taken the Lord Inquisitor up on that thunderdome opportunity. Bad move on his part, IMO.

Can I go and do the Thunderdome so I can become a member of C+P? I just want to shoot at someone. Declared my first war and this is how it has gone.

Day 2: No wartarget login.
Day 3: No wartarget login.
Day 4: Come home to no wartargets logged on. I think I see a pattern.
So far, waste of 50m isk. :(

This is my first war kill so I am sooooo stoked.
Ended up using the locater agent and found out where he was at but was 17 jumps from where I was, but was 3 jumps from where my newbro was flying around. I sent him to the system before where he was at to keep an eye on him but he inadvertently jumped into system with him. I had him on TS with me at the time.
Newbro: "Yeah, I see him here in local."
Morgan: "Um, I said jump to Attyn, not into system with him. Jump back out."
Newbro: "Um, okay."
A few moments later, he yells on the comms that they guy is following him. My first reaction is...oh great. My newbro is gonna get blown up and podded and I am 12 jumps away. So then I ask him if he sees his ship.
Newbro: "No, why?"
Morgan: "I want to know what he is flying if he is chasing you."
Newbro: "No, I don't kno....wait, he is here at the gate with me."
Morgan: "Warp off!"
Newbro: "Where to?"
Morgan: "Anywhere but there! Warp off! But what is he flying?" A few moments pass...
Newbro: "Ok, I am in warp. What is an Orca?"
I paused in utter disbelief. This guy was flying an Orca with an active war going on against him?
Morgan: "Orca." He replied yes. I started to giggle like a little schoolgirl while flying as fast as I could in my Hound.

I had to calm myself down. I knew that Orcas started at least 600m and that would be a nice war kill mail for me and my newbro. As the jumps started ticking down, I started to tell my newbro to follow him.
Newbro: "Um, his ship is big. Do I have to follow him?"
Morgan: "Most Orcas are not combat fitted. Just stay back and tell me where he is going."
I was getting closer as my buddy told me he jumped into Tar. I was really excited since I was two jumps out. For some reason, the guy was following my route but just going the other way. I warped to the gate when I saw him at the gate, slowboating towards the gate. THIS GUY WAS AFK PILOTING!
I locked on him and started to shoot at him. I had not pointed him since I was 14km away from him and I had a scram that only went 9km but I knew he wouldn't get away from me. Now, I had two issues that I then realized. First of all, I had no way to bump him off course towards the gate. And to do that, I would have needed a MWD, which my Hound had no prop mod whatsoever. After my third volley of Caldari Navy Torpedoes hit his shield, my newbro in his Merlin showed up just as I landed my scram on the Orca.
Morgan: "Ok, buddy, shoot that ship to your heart's content." He laughed and said his guns were going as I said that. We took down his shields pretty quick and started slamming his armor when I noticed that he was getting close to the gate. I knew we were running out of time since we agressed, I was watching the timer ticking down as he got closer and closer to the gate. I then started to overheat my torpedo launchers to try to burn him down.
We had him down to 52% structure when he jumped through the gate. Thankfully I didn't have voice activated speech cause I let out a string of curses from my US Coast Guard days over 25 years ago.
Newbro: "Where did he go?"
I growled in frustration. I had this damn Orca and it got away, even after overheating (thank you Thermodynamics V). As soon as the timer passed, I jumped into Pakhshi as fast as I could but he was nowhere to be found. I still saw him in local but I feared that he would disappear out of local without eyes on him.

I turned and activated my two Sensor Boosters with Scan Resolution scripts to get the fast lock and started throwing torpedoes at him again while slow boating towards scam range. I saw that he was turning and aligning to a gate.
Morgan: "Hey man, where are you? Warp to me and help me kill this Orca before he runs!" The Orca lost his shields again and started to lose structure. I got scram on him and did a baby bump into him.
Newbro: "How do you warp to you?" I shook my head and filed into the back of my mind to teach him how to warp to members effectively and quickly.
Morgan: "I got him." As his structure went down to 4% and I knew the next shot would take it out, I then overheated both of my Sensor Boosters to try to give me instalock for his pod. The Orca exploded in delightful goodness.

I was disappointed that my newbro, who was shooting at him in Tar, did not get on the kill mail. Not sure why. I did promise that we would try again before the war ends to get him on a kill mail.
(ok I know that my storytelling skills don't match up to some of the other ones but this was my first one, so give me a break, huh?)

Thanks for the info on the KM. I wasn't aware he had to be in system so that is good to know. I will contemplate putting this in the pirate story thread, probably when I get home from work. That Orca fit confused me though, but thinking back on it he had to be afk the whole time. I tracked him down to Duripant and sat outside (cloaked of course) the station waiting for him and even did a convo invite but after 30m nothing happened and I logged for the night.

I sat back in my chair, contemplating that I just mostly soloed an Orca. My last and only solo kill was in FW as a pirate against a pitiful Reaper. A couple of moments later, my newbro landed 10km off of me. Morgan: "We need to talk about your fleet skills. See that large wreck next to me? Loot it and lets get out of here. We will do fleet practice later." I cloaked my Hound up and started to slow boat away when I pulled up the kill mail. I was disappointed that my newbro, who was shooting at him in Tar, did not get on the kill mail. Not sure why. I did promise that we would try again before the war ends to get him on a kill mail. (ok I know that my storytelling skills don't match up to some of the other ones but this was my first one, so give me a break, huh?) First off awesome. Next up repost this in the pirate story thread . Finally you need too have agressed the target in the system where it died to get on the killmail
