to the OP...i think the reason its called the caracal is cos it sounds mildly more threatening than 'emu' or especially 'ostrich'... ...
but what i would like to see is names suiting the ships more...i mean the scorpion's name suits it perfectly. the raven? any real raven that looked like that would be extinct...it SHOULD be called 'misshapen blob'...(ok maybe the dominix deserves that name more)...

Rename it...sheesh. Thats the least of its problems...Slap on some make-up, a blonde wig, a nice looking dress and then we might be halfway there. My god its one ugly lookin' ship. Definately wont get asked to the prom. That and the Rupture....

Seriously, the entire Caldari naming scheme needs a makeover.
Why are all the 'classic' birds of prey - Eagle, Falcon, Hawk - tech 2 ships? Use well-known animals for the tech 1 ships, and rarer ones for the tech 2 ships.
