Hardin Amarr Imperial Dreams Curatores Veritatis Alliance	Posted - 2006.12.30 10:58:00 - [1] As most piratey types know the CVA spends a lot of time protecting and upholding Amarrian law the 'Deliverance' region (low-sec Domain and 'Amarrian' Providence)... In that time we have come across many different pirate types. Some we have grown to love (but still keep KOS) for their humour and PvP abilities. Others have become part of the background scenery and it wouldn't be the same without them. I know I for one would miss Snodgey if he ever left the area... Anyway... this is the story of another pirate... One I do not have so much love for... I thought I would share it with you all (names removed to protect the guilty) as it has brought us much merriment and I think you will enjoy it... One day one of our fine upstanding Amarrian pilots caught a 'former' pirate enroute to the Yong gate in Gemodi in a hauler. He was no longer in his pirate corp but had not at this stage contacted the CVA to ask for us to remove him from KOS. Anyway our 'reformed friend started the following conversation in local: EVE System > Channel changed to Gemodi Local Channel Reformed Pirate > wtf Reformed Pirate> you ass hole Reformed Pirate> wtf Reformed Pirate> you **** Reformed Pirate> ill have your ass reported, you have no business attacking a nuetral you stupid *** retard mad4it > u are a known pirate Reformed Pirate> oh bull , i am no longer any more a pirate then you Reformed Pirate> *** check yourself first head mad4it > u are still KOS to CVA mad4it > just confirmed Reformed Pirate> then CVA are fools Reformed Pirate> tell them to contact me mad4it > well contact lord sidyous, but you remain on our KOS list at current, so beware mad4it > for your previous actions Reformed Pirate> bah Reformed Pirate> you are idiots to dare make an enemy of me Reformed Pirate> take the help i offer Reformed Pirate> and who am i contacting? Reformed Pirate> Lord Sidyous is not the name of anyone mad4it > Sidyous Anyway our pilot being a fine upsatnding individual decide to give the pirate the benefit of the doubt and let his hauler out on low structure. Shortly after he received the following convo: Reformed Pirate > he isnt even online Reformed Pirate > isnt there someone i can talk to who is currently online and active Reformed Pirate > i have things to setup to start my new life Reformed Pirate > which i HAD hoped would include helping CVA to repay the damage i did as a pirate Reformed Pirate > that and i was tired of you morons assuming i was an ass cause i was a pirate when this is just a game mad4it > well i have posted up details of this convo, and our diplomats will look at it. Maybe he deserved a second chance? You seem to have a lot of anger and people who get angry easily tend to get trigger happy. Perhaps you should return some other time, maybe indulge in some Vitoc. I wish you luck in the future but I'm sorry to say you are not welcome in CVA space and the areas we patrol. We will allow you sufficient time to leave the area, say 12 hours after which the Kill on Sight rule will be reinstated. Khul Drukath Maelstrom Crew	Posted - 2006.12.30 11:53:00 - [8] As a pirate I bet he never worried about the difference between a guy in local being red or neutral. I bet he never worried about whether the hauler he was shooting had half the pilot's assets in it. As he said "it's just a game". I always think it is funny when people cry out when they receive the same back as they have been giving out, as if it is somehow unfair. Lines like "repay CVA the damage i did to them" are just a lie to get the moral high ground, I am sure. Besides, who said you guys were obliged to forgive and forget? Just because he decides to stop being a pirate for a day doesn't mean he should just be welcomed back open arms. That is entirely your decision to make. If you made him KOS to the end of Eve I doubt anyone would think you were being unfair.
