Hello,
I have an overview sugestion. I'd like that: - jump range - orbit distance - keep at distance would be put into overview settings so to be saved into the overview settings.
The first purpose that I'm thinking of is to permit to customize these settings per ship and create ship specific overviews.
If anyone feels the same or have similar sugestions, please share!

The second two i understand what you mean, your orbit range in a frigate is often different from that of BS etc, but what do you mean regards jump range?
I'm not sure how this is configurable from an overview POV?

Rana Quillam is on my account. Ewa is my main on this account.
I didn't explain myself right, probably it is "warp distance to an object" what I should have refered to. I shall give an example.
U're in a gang during a PvP operation. A gang member has tackled an enemy ship near a gate/station/planet... whatever fixed point in space. The rest of the gang should jump in to support him, all at their optimals. Let's say I'm in an Arazu and my optimal is 36km. The tackler is orbitting the enemy so he's not fixed, so by jumping to him i could miss my optimal. The enemy is webbed.
I want to have a default config on the overview for this ship to allow me to warp at N km with this overview, and all done by selecting that point on the overview and then cliking the "->>>" on the top of the overview.
This could also be extended as default warping distance per overview to a gang mate and customized from the overview and saved as an overview setting, if other conception choices don't do the job.
I hope it's clearer now.

Click on some object you can warp to in space.
Right click on the warp-to icon in the overview. Set the standard warp in distance to whatever you want it to be. (If you know that the tackler can be 7km short and 7km behind the target, you should be able to do the math for yorself.) --*=*=*--
The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing. by Sharkbait | 2006.09.20 |

That is not what the OP is trying to say. From what I reed is that there should be a save-able orbit, jump range and keep at distance setup. Similar to overview settings, the option to save what objects should be shown on overview. So you can save your default distances to upload them quickly.
It sounds like a good idea.

And could u plz extend the "Warp to..." distance to let's say 200km, cause the actual limitation at 100km is kind of dull for 200-250km (hypothetically, but possible 250km) snipers?
Thx.
