I know this is a mission forum, but I think it comes closest to PvE 0.0 rathunting.
Now, my question is simple: What NPC pirate faction gives the best loot in 0.0 space? So far I have fought Guristas, Serpentis and Sansha's. Guristas I think were best: nice named launchers, people are willing to pay lots for them Serpentis: pretty crappy, some nice armor plates, but not that good. Sancha's: very disappointing so far, but I have only done Sancha's for a few days. Thought they gave the best loot, but maybe iam wrong. They do give damage control mods, but all tech I unfortunately.
So, whats your impression?

For me, I like the Guristas, especially if you get a DG spawn as their loot can be well worth it.
Serpentis drop named cargo expanders which can also be worth some good isk.
Haven't done the others myself.
Keep hunting!

Blood Raiders.
Named Nos, Neuts and Reps = big ISK.
If you are lucky enough to get faction nos / armour tank equipment, that is even bigger ISK.
But the best thing is, they all drop nos, neuts and crystals which reprocess into lots of Zydrine and Megacyte. Large frequency crystals are an especially concentrated source. The energy turrets help too. I am not aware of any other NPC faction which drops such a high rare mineral value in its loot, except of course rogue drones in the new regions.

Sadly, no; best named repairers go for 200-300 k nowadays, best named cap drainers may score few millions but the market is overloaded as well... neutralizers are rarely in demand since they cost your ship the cap to run rather than supply it.

In my experience, Serpentis are superior to Guristas. In a month of ratting in fountain, I looted 10 local hull conversions and about 12 beta hull mods (battlecruisers drop alot of good expanders), 9 425mm prototypes, 5 350mm prototypes, 16 modal neutron blasters, 12 modal ion blasters, 15 modal electron blasters, 30+ 1600mm rolled tungsten, 50+ electrochemical cap boosters, 2 snake implants (some nights I would get 3+ shadow spawns), about 500M worth in other shadow loot, and the best part... an officer spawn named Brynn. His loot was worth well over 1.5B.
Take a Deimos to Fountain for a month for 3-4 hours a night and tell me Serpentis are crap. I love 'em.

Sounds good, maybe I stayed in Serpentis playground too short. I have ratted for about a week in Guristas and Serpentis territory as well, and IMO it seemed Guristas drop valuable loot more frequently. Thats mainly because named launchers arent very much subject to the ongoing deflation in EVE.

Keep in mind that you'll get much better loot over time if you can get access to low true sec systems. It's a lot easier to find such systems in Fountain than in, say, Syndicate, so you should also base your decision on what regions you have access to.

Angles drop named guns, launchers, shield extenders, plates, nanos, (not sure about cargo expenders but i think so), repairers and a lot more.
Esp. the guns sell like mad.
But it's not like they drop more it's just a better range of icons. -- $ perl -n -e 'print "Stop blameing pirates! Oveur is the root of all evil!\n" if m/podkill|lost my ship|gank|gate camp|Verone/;'
