As a pilot when I purchase anything off of the market I want to be able to indicate that I'd like my purchase placed in my active ship's hanger.
If there is no active ship the buy window should not allow me to select a ship as the destination for my purchase and it should just default to going back to my Item Hanger.
Just a simple check box in the buy window with the text reading "Deliver goods to active ship cargo bay". If there's not enough room in the boat throw an error and abort the sale.
Do me a favor and put that **** in my boat!

Posting etiquette concerning his swearing aside...
Hey Look, another harmless quality of life suggestion instantly crapped upon by the EVE should be hard crowd. Seriously, if you have a reason why not, post that. But just trying to shut it down because you yourself would not find it at all useful? Does that just make your Epeen swell or something?
While it's true that I don't find it difficult to move things from the hangar to my ship, if there was a box to set a preference to deliver items to my current cargo hold I would use it and consider it a valuable use of my mouse click.
Needed? No, not really. Handy for the next time they are dicking with the code dealing with buying stuff? Sure. |

Reason: because eve should be hard
Translation: The game is being automated away. Children are being brought up with no understanding of work ehtic or the meaning of the word 'NO' - instant gratificatin is destroying the human race and the planet. Dev time is limited and in general a lot of the 'eve should be hard' crowd would prefer coding time go to pvp related topics in lieu of redirecting where your purchases go, because (and take this to heart) who fu***** cares if it takes a click and a drag/drop to get sh** from your hanger to cargo.
Quality of life?? Please you silly goose, put some percieved value on this quality of life improvement. How will my life be better because of this???
Performing tasks that accomplish desired results (such as moving purchased goods from hangar to cargo successfully) makes pilots feel good about themselves. If you take this 'feel good' function out of the game then the average self esteem of eve pilots will go down - lowering self esteem lowers retention. This idea is bad for both retention overall and the game in general.

-1 from me, not because "eve should be hard", but because I actually don't see this as a QOL improvement.
I think having all purchases go to the station Item hangar is much more organized than things popping into cargoholds. The way it is now keeps things simple and easy to find. In fact, the first time I purchased something using the corp wallet, I was like "DAFUQ?? Where's my CHIT??" Took me a whole 10-30 seconds to find "Market Deliveries" or whatever. I don't want more variables in where my stuff goes when I buy it.

free hangar delivery
100 mil / item for cargo delivery (1000 ammo = 1000 items)
Seems like a reasonable business model! |

As presented it would be merely an option. Kinda like when you order a pizza on a website and it asks if you want it delivered somewhere other than your home address.
As for automating the game away, nonsense. If someone feels a sense of pride in accomplishment because they dragged an item from one inventory to another then they are really, really easily impressed with themselves or the UI is way too damn hard to use.
It's a harmless, mostly useless cosmetic feature. Perhaps it does not need it's own dev taskforce, but it would do no harm. |

CCP will introduce a new form of livestock especially for this request: the grocery bagger. They will put all your purchases into the cargo hold of your ship and make sure it's neatly stowed.
Next up: a receipt to go with the purchase of the goods, together with an itemised list of products purchased.
Next next up: coupons if you buy frequently from the same manufacturer.
Next next next up: raffle tickets: spend 1 million ISK, win a titan! |

I'll admit it's a small quality of life improvement but that's the point it's low hanging fruit.
Where I find myself wanting it is when I'm refilling a boat on ammunition or fuel and I have a lot of items in my item hanger. So after purchasing there's at least a few clicks/searches that are saved by being able to say please put that in my boat.
All of you that down voted this lack imagination. |

Drop a station container/vault. Without those things I'd never find stuff in jita. |
