Now that CCP has reconsidered the removal of jukebox i ask the community about their opinion about the removal of the RGB slider that allowed you to customize the color of your interface.
I think the removal was a mistake, the preset colors that came in its place are bland, when you removed it you took away an important customization option from the game.
My interface is black now, not because i like it but because i hate it less then the rest of the presets, i would like to have my custom green interface back. |

I have to admit the preset palettes aren't very good from an aesthetic perspective. I know I'd do it a lot differently. It's also annoying to be stuck with someone else's concept of "good". Presets are good for some folks, I guess. But, I've taken a few hours of color theory, and I'd like my split triad color schemes back.

There are other ways to fix Null Sec stagnation and Fozzie SOV is the wrong approach.

+1, definitely something I really miss from the old UI. Tired of Eve UI looking like it's from a phone.

I'm actually fine without the sliders.
No particular objection to them, but I adapted, and normally have it set to match ship, so as I change ships I get different UI schemes. |

well to be honest i like the new look to be fair. I even forget that you can "custom" the look sins i always use the dark "blahblah" if i`m correct. Not sure xD how it called. |

I dont mind the new colours.
But I would like the RGB sliders back. And also a way to toggle off elements of the UI. So much of it is multi redundant.
EvE is a good looking game but each release CCP insists on covering more of it up with more UI, chunkier brackets and icons etc.
There is a reason why all the marketing videos CCP produce for the game never show the the UI. Its because the UI makes the game visual go from stunning space scene... to below average and cluttered meh.. All with the click of the show UI button.
Obviously we need some UI... but lets face it.. the game could be played with the overview alone and some fade in elements for when ur getting damaged etc. If players want more of the UI visible then they should be able to toggle it on.

Most of the windows can be closed and those that cant be closed like the overview or the chat can be minimized.
Eve offers a lot of customization options, i was sad when they removed one of those options even though it had 0 effect on the gameplay. I cant think of a reason why they had to remove the RGB slider. |
