well, time to post up my first video to the eve community.
87.5 meg
The were a few slight glitches in the playback, and i didnt know how go get rid of them. sometimes when a clip is cut it plays the end of the clip at the beginning. confusing huh  . they are not that noticeable tho. as i cut the resolution down from wide screen the quality wasnt what i hoped for and neither was the file size, but its a first attempt anyway! please suggest what i should cut 1280x980 to if you have done this before.

Excellent work for a first vid imo... fraps quality was decent, encoding was fine as far as I saw, camera work was good (for the "cutscene" parts, as it's pretty hard to get the camerawork right when you're fighting).
Music went well with the vid and the timed scene changes fit right in with the fast pace of the fraps (It seems sped up slightly more than the usual vids). Also looked like some quality fights were had 
Just for the record I didn't notice any playback glitches.

Firstly, nice vid, good editing throughout and good music too. (you forgot to mention Primal Scream 'Loaded' in the music )
Best results I've had for resolution is to just use the same size resolution as Fraps and after editing is complete, export uncompressed to .AVI
From there I import into VirtualDub and run 3 compressed passes with DivX into a new .AVI
Image quality is very high and it seems to remove the pixelation on busy frames.
Looking forward to your next vid.

and omfg stabs on a carrier.
Thats almost as bad as stabs on the raptor in Inz vid.
