A lot of COSMOS missions are VERY hard. Especailly the Low-sec ones in the final stages of certain missions.
Anyone else feel that Capital ships should be allowed in these areas?

Uh... no.
They were stopped from being in missions primarily BECAUSE of players in carriers farming low sec COSMOS for tens of billions.

The above is abundantly untrue.
Players were actualy farming a bugged cosmos mission, afaik it's been fixed now.

And further to that point: those missions are not hard. They are completely impossible solo. They are not hard in a group. They are MEANT TO BE GROUP MISSIONS. Having a single capital sitting there tanking the whole with ease while bestowing 13 drones worth of rapedamage onto all they surveyed was NOT the plan.

From the description of the sites foun, it would be more logic to allow them in some of the exploration sites.
As some are in low sec, away from a home base, a support carrier can be very useful.

a dev allready said they can enter exploration sites just not the very first stage , but they can do the escalations if u get one aparently

Isn't that the optimal situation? That we have some missions in game that are challenging, and require teamwork. Allowing carriers would make them more boring.

Disallowing capships and fighters into the sites was the easiest possible way to 'fix' the Fleet Issue Pest farming.
Guess how the issue has been resolved. --*=*=*--
