We where to guys not from the same corp, but same alliance in gang.
We where out doing a lvl 4 mission, and there was only one enemy left in the last room.
I started to salvage one of his wrecks, at the same time shooting at the last enemy. When i reloaded my missile launchers and started to press F1 - F7 (Drake with 7 launchers), the enemy died and I started by mistake to fire upon the wreck.
2 sec. after Concord came in and shot my ship down.
Q. Does shooting an other guys wreck when in same gang, couse global aggro, and give concord a reason to shoot me?

afaik, sadly yes. If you are in the same corp, you can do whatever though. |

OMG.
then i've lost for several 100 millions of isk. 
CCP should change that.

same happened yesterday with me. cleared out lvl1 worlds collide mission for my starting friend and darted away on my own business. suddenly he said "i'm dead"
he shot a wreck that was my kill, our valiant police forces jumped in and annihilated his destroyer in a split second :D

You had disabled the window earlier in mistake? If not, and you didn't get the warning, it certainly sounds like reportable bug.

I've never checked "dont show this agian" ever.
Well i've seen 2 ravens go down to this one mine, one my friend's. From what I remember they said they couldnt prove I had checked the "never show the warning that you are about to get concorded" checkbox....
and my friend said they didnt believe him because it wasnt a "reported bug" (window failing to come up when hitting gang mate.)
better luck too you m8 =/
they lost a subscription back then. guess were all a dime a dozen

I have the window on, but it never popped up like it was supposed to.
I will never salvage wrecks again, cus lossing a complete Dread gurista setup and T2 Heavy missile launchers set me a lot of isk back.

I've seen this happen AT LEAST a dozen times since the wrecks came out. They really need to change it so shooting a wreck doesn't set off Concord, between gangmates at the very least. What's the point of protecting a stupid wreck with a fleet of police ships?

anyone who has ever done any pvp will have disabled that stupid window , so expecting people to rely on that is silly.
if i was you i would peition its retarded that you cant shoot alliance members in empire but you can corp mates.

friend of mine lost his tech II fitted ishtar that noway. No warning, only lag and a nice lill pod. His petition has been out for 3 weeks now and no responce from ccp.
Very very poor service from their side

There is a problem in the way wrecks are protected when people are in the same alliance.
I dont see any logic in Concord coming and destroying your ship, when i'm in the same alliance as my gang mate.
The idea of being in an alliance should give You more rights, and oppertunities for making your alliance unique.
- In my eye's an alliance should be the same thing as a Corporation, but with the posability of many different departments (Police, Justice, Manufacture, Sience and leadership) so that you could choose what direction you'd want to go.
Just like real companies.

Game was working exactly as intented, stop cluttering the damn petition system.

Because he never got the "u are going to do something illegal" window. And no he didn't click it away. That was a bug and nothing wrong with petitioning it.

And you know he didn't get that window how exactly Mr Alt ? 
Anyone thats EVER engaged in any PvP / shooting friends etc wont get that window. If I fly into empire and shoot someones ship should I then petition because I didn't get a warning window ?

Since a few patches back (dragon or RMR I think), the crime warning has been the same wherever you go. If you want to PvP in 0.0, you basically have to turn off the crime warning. And if you go back to high sec and forget to turn it on...
I miss that cerberus 
I wouldn't expect anything back, just buy yourself a new ship and remember to turn the crime warning on all the time you're in high sec. After that Cerb, I never forgot again

This is Mr main. Made another char to try out the new char design system and now it's constantly putting that one as standard up front. Sorry bout that.
I'm sure because we just reinstalled the game. Oh well it's not really about the ship it's about not even getting a "stfu" from CCP.

this is most definately bugged/needs to be changed. you can LOOT any can/wreck that belongs to your gang, you should be able to shoot any can/wreck. its simple logic. if youre in a gang why CONCORD protect it? its a freaking gang!
let CCP know, they should be changing this in the future. i can see no reason why they wouldnt. gang rights and all, loot belongs to the gang. i know for a fact its ok for gang to loot since i gang up with people for complexes.
same gang = no concord, needs to be changed

It goes a step further with the stupidity of wrecks. If I return to the station (say to get my hauler) the moment I dock, any wreck that my gangmate did not land a shot on becomes my wreck only, even though we are ganged. I'm pretty much used to my friend being flashing on my overview 90% of the time, because I docked for a tractor/salvager to clean up all the wrecks we have, and he has to aggro me in order to help collect.

I dont think their should be any agro timer for killing carebear idiots but thats game mechanics. Same as in this case, If you think it should be changed post in the relavant forum.

I don't know about you guys but I'd like to see an improvement in the interface to avoid these sorts of problems to begin with. I've always found the targeting a bit clumsy and the auto-switching of targets always annoyed me. Please tell me I'm not the only one.
