Move it to the right side of the window. Then you can quickly click the [x] button to close it if you need to, or minimize it.
Thank you! |

I can see a lot of people accidentally closing their d-scanners when they go to click the scan button. I'm not entirely opposed to this, though. It really doesn't matter to me. I just thought that this was something worth considering. |

I have several issues with the directional scanner and also the probe scanner; the scan button just being one of them (I'll cover the other things in another post).
The button is too big. It takes up too much realestate in the window. The animation is not helping me (though I guess it's helping CCP get less spam). Only the results really matter, and with the layout that's chosen, there is less realestate for results. I wish the designers would make a layout with as much room for results as possible. The one line they've taken away actually matters, and preventing scrolling is a holy art of UI design, especially when seconds matter.
I'd love a customizable scan button on both probe and directional scanner. I'm willing to accept its size as long as I can move it left, right or center as I please. That would make it much more easy to use in conjunction with whatever map layout I want.
Also I'd love a short-cut or key binding for scanning or probing, or both. |

Another bad thing is that it isn't letting me save presets. So I've turned it off for now. Would also like them to remove the underline and go back to the highlight. |

Seriously, what a pointless change. CCP need to hire somebody who understands ergonomics, there was no need to move this. Put it back where it was FFS. |
