I'm thinking of setting up an Empire research POS.
One of the corp members has recently started doing missions for Gallente/Minmatar corporations, and getting negative Amarr standing.
My Amarr standing is 5.63. When I look at the corp standing to Amarr Empire, it's 4.65.
However, when I look at "Show Compositions" of the corp to Amarr Empire standing, it shows it at 1.45 due to the negative standing from the Gallente mission runner.
What number do I need to look at for a POS in Amarr space? The one in the corp standing window, or the composition number? Quite a big difference between 4.65 and 1.45!
Can I kick the Gall mission runner out of the corp, get 5.0+ Amarr standing, put up the POS and then invite the Gall mission runner back into the corp? Over time the Corp->Amarr standing will drop below 5.0, will the Amarr Empire offline my POS when that happens?

You need to look at the one in the corp standing window.
And yes .. in your case its probably the only way to remove the gallente mission runner to get a high enough factional standing again.

Do you know what happens if a corp with a POS in 0.5 has their standing go below 5.0 after they have already anchored a POS?

Afaik, it wont be affected unless the thing goes offline, then you wont be able to online it again afterward until your standings are sorted.

Its unaffected until you UNANCHORE it ...
you can online and offline it all you want.
