Edited by: Chris TheNinjaPirate on 02/01/2007 17:32:17 i saw someone talking on here about being blown up as soon as they left the station.
but i thought that during the time you undock, you have a short time of invulnerability? i spent a little time in 0.0, and when someone undocked, i could not even lock them for a while. and as soon as i could lock they, they will redock.
so what is going on? is this different in low or high sec? i thought you were invulnerable for just a little bit, allowing you to see if someone was waiting for you...??
correct me please?

i think they're invulnerable for a certain amount of time, or until the move/lock/ or perform an action. __________________________ Why babelfish is bad mmm k "which the night do not expect that it calls the primary education before becoming deformed inside" |

these other people are talking in the other thread about how they undocked from a station, and a dread popped them between the time they undocked and when they could redock. that is what has me confused.

my guess is the moved or performed an action, i believe it said they tried to warp out. __________________________ Why babelfish is bad mmm k "which the night do not expect that it calls the primary education before becoming deformed inside" |

You can bump people during that 30 seconds and that breaks the invulnerability. -----

Nah you just fly through them. Unless they move, lock, activate a module they're unlockable and un-bumpable for 30 seconds.

Its one of the only reasons I like Minmatar stations, half of them have those stupid towers your ship gets caught on.

I've watched my characters undock many of times and just sit there for 15 to 20 or so seconds before the client opened them up to space. It's been like that a long time.
And no, I have NICE hardware in all my boxes.
I wouldn't count on the 30 second invuln deal. In my experience ppl are lockable within five to ten seconds after they appear outside a station.

Think of it Just like the cloaking field you have when you first enter a system only it makes you invulnerable since your too close to an object to actually cloak. What happens to it when you do something?
