Any tips/setups for modding out a thorax would be greatly appreciated..new player here and I need some direction.

pretty new myself but this is my setup,
HIGH:
5x 150MM prototype l gauss gun
MED:
1x MWD
1x 20km scrambler
1x stasis web
LOW:
3x hardners
1x 1600mm reinforced rolled
1x medium armor hardner
it works pretty good gotten a few kills, any comments on my setup would be appreciated as well, always trying to improve

Why are you putting small guns on a ship with a med gun bonus?
That should be considered a crime!

Don't waste your time with blasterboats unless it's a Mega.

1x Energized Adaptive Nano
1x Magnetic Field Stabilizer/Capacitor Power Relay/Another Energized Adaptive Nano
5x Valkyries
This is a cheap and effective PVP thorax setup for a new player. Guns can be switched out for light neutrons, and if you do so, you can also switch the plate for a 1600mm one.
But again its a PVP setup, and with your charracter being only so old, i doubt you are looking for one atm.
Now if you want a NPC hunting setup, look no further.
4x 150mm Rails
1x Medium NOS
1x 10mn AB
1x Web
1x Cap Recharger
1x Medium Armor Repairer II/accomodotion
2x Armor Hardeners/Energized Adaptive Nanos
1x Capacitor Power Relay/Energized Adaptive Nano

Thats the same set-up I use for cheap fun pvp and it's very effective.
Cookie cutter set ups FTW

Segmentor, is the nos really viable with the rails? Wouldn't you be out of range of the nos?

yup and a medium nos. and can be eanmII's if ya want. seriously rules. even when u run outta cap ur 5 hammerhead II's often finsh the job. killed a hurricane the other day in it  was a bit of a noob tho lol
