As the title suggests, I want to find out how many research slots there are in a Mobile Lab. I read that there were three, but I see in the lab info that there is a concurrent operational user of 1.
Does that mean only one user with only one slot, or only one user with three slots?

1 mobile lab = 3 ME, 3 TE, 1 Copy.
the user limits mean nothing.

Do you see 5 invention slots on you POSes?
My POS shows no invention slots.
A medium Tower will fit 5 mobile labs if stripped of defenses, a Large Tower can have 10.
Which the translates into 15 ME slot, 15 PE slots, 5 copy slots (and 25 invention slots?) for a medium POS, double that on a large POS.
One concurrent user only means that only one can anchor, online, or offline a module at a time.
You can set is so that all your corp members can do research at the POS, and even allow limited alliance access.

To fix your mobile lab not having invention slots you have to unanchor it .. take it to a station .. repackage it .. anchor it and online it again.
limited to 1 user means that if 2 users are within the 1500meter range they cannot store BPO/BPC's in it .. without the second person leaving the 1500m range.

Even 6 labs (max) can be fitten on a medium and 13 on a Large Medium + 6 labs = 18ME/18PE/6 Copy/30 invent slots) Large + 13 labs = 39ME/39PE/13 Copy/75 invent slots)

Hmm .. your completely correct. I was meantioning Gallente towers. It seems that Caldari has the highest CPU output of all the towers and therefore can hold more labs indeed.
Looking at the function of a high sec POS you could say that the best choice would be using a Caldari tower.
Me being a pessimist is a win-win situation: Either i am right .. or its even better then i said. |
