Agents on Chaos are now divided into several different categories. Some make since like R&D are research agents and Security agents are more likely to give kill missions but I was wondering what the other categories like Administration, Internal Security, Advisory, Intelligence, Surveillance, Personnel, etc. are for?
On a related topic, which types of agents will be giving out the new Tech2 skills since R&D agents donĘt give out missions?

I hope they never tell us, and let us fiqure it our ourselves. Too much info has been published already.
Where's the fun, if you're given all the info, and all that's left to you is the mundane work of doing the missions.
At least this bit should be left in the mystery. Let us race to get those new skillbooks, since being among the 1st to start the reseacrh will give the player a significant advantage.

Pffft... the player base need more info then we have now. We need something to look forward to now that the game has grown stale.

Maybe they will add specific missions for different divisions later but it doesnt seem like that as of now: I did 2 missions for a lvl 3 Ishukone internal security agent and one was an ammo run (kinda ok) other one was tranporting a car to agent's granma!!!! (NOT ok  )

What I want to know is, are there still agents (not concord of course) that can repair your security status for you? Does anyone on chaos have access to ana gent with a security status service?

Agents donĘt take bribes anymore so no easy sec level fixes for evildoers.

I dont mean bribing concord, Im talking about the time constrained security services that "fix" your sec level in increments for a fee. Not all agents can do this, and it takes a while to find one who can... ?
Anybody seen one of these?

Well thats just plain horrible.
Are you sure? Do we have some official word from Papa Smurf of this removal of services?
I know my agents now that have sec services on tranquility are all "abysmal"... and of course they dont have the services on Chaos. Is it possible that the services have been moved to the higher quality agents that we happen to not have access to?

Thats not true actually, my agent is caldari and dose secirity fixes. Each agent did a little better job (not that i ever used it but it was fun to have). Lv1 agent did from -5.0 sec and would repair up to -2.0, lv2 would do -5.0 up to -1.0 and my lv 3 did -6.0 up to 0.0
Logical to assume that the lv4 agents will be able to repair up to 1.0
Im working for Kaalakotia Corp, they wont get you a positive rating so far but they do get you back into neutral. Dont know if this will be nerfed or not tho ;)
Concord agents will get you beefed (above 0.0) status right? If so im glad they're being removed, I've seen so many pirates with 9.+ sec rate that atack people day in and day out, hardly ever do I see their rating drop...

I read somewhere in a post from PapaSmurf that security services are officially out which would make since. It shouldn't be any easier for people with negative sec status to gain sec then people with positive sec IMHO.
Location services are still in. I have access to several agents that can do region wide searches.

Black Drake are you talking about on Chaos or TQ?

No it doesnt make sense. A low security rating cuts you off from a huge amount of the game. It is unreasonable to ask someone to wait sometimes over a month to get access to game content because he did something clearly allowed by the game rules.
Lets not forget these sec hits hurt the pirate hunters, ore thief killers, and bounty hunters. If someone collects a bounty off of a -4 sec pirate in 0.2 space, he could easily end up at -4 sec himself. Is it fair to ask him to wait 21 days before he could safely fly into 1.0 systems?

I'm with Othnark here. Tho' I've never had to use the feature, there will come a time when I need to dirty my hands a little to fight off someone.
Would be nice if I can whipe the slate clean for one (or two) minor offenses. Especially since my main Agent is in a 1.0 system.

Yes. I don't know if that are the same agents as on Tranq, but I have location agents on chaos.

The agent types are the division they work for, based on the major divisons that the corp has.
This will play a major role in what type of missions and services the agents have available in the future, but that will mostly wait until the volunteer content program starts.
Currently, this is mostly just for 'where are the research agents' and for getting a feel for where the NPC corp focus is.

How bout a word on the security fixing agents Papa, are they totally out? If so can you please explain the reason for that decision? And please, if your reason is "they arent balanced".... why not tweak them instead of removing them? This could really hurt some pirates' play style.
