I resubscribed about a hour ago. Went to go play, and the game refuses to get past the character selection screen. It just sits there doing nothing. Am I the only one experiancing this frustrating issue? I don't like paying 15 dollars just so I can sit there and do nothing.

Now I can't even get the character selection screen to appear correctly. It sits there doing nothing, none of my characters showing, and the HTTP window on the right errors out.

Still cant do anything. Thought going to sleep and waking up the problem might be gone. But its still here. This is rediculous. The issue is an obvious connection issue as the game is sitting there waiting for the server to respond, to no avail. Waste of 15 dollars.

I've tried re-installing for the sake of re-installing, but that didnt help at all. It is a connectivity issue. My tracert to the server is just fine. I dont get it, if your reading this CCP respond to my petition allready.

At a guess, I'd say check your firewall settings on your router and/or software (including Windows firewall). Sounds like the incoming port is being blocked, especially since the tracert gets through fine.

Well, I havent changed anything and it seems to be working fine now. Don't know why. It wasn't my firewall because I have that port set to come through. Regardless, removing my router and firewall from the equation did'nt make a difference.
