Hello,
I almost didn't post this since 1.2 million skill points seems kind of small compared to the 14-42 million ads I have seen on this page. Never the less, I want to find a good group of people to play this game with and this seems like a good place to do it.
I joined Eve Online at the recommendation of a friend after I became disgusted with the simplicity and overall treadmill feel of WoW. Unfortunately the holidays have kept me from doing much in game other than create a few characters before I finally settled on the look and feel if this one. As such, I have started training learning skills (kind of boring I might add).
After reading the forums the past night or two here at work I have decided upon what I think would suit my interests and what I could provide to your corporation.
1. Fighter - I know that sounds silly because everyone in this game can fight right? What I am trying to say is that I do not want to mine or build things. I mean one day that might sound appealing but I really just want to provide a combat related service. I would gladly guard operations or mining ventures. One day I might want to mine but right now I see myself contributing as a military type person.
2. PVP - I have not tried PVP but I wouldn't be against it. The only thing I want to make sure is that I do not participate in griefing. I want to protect people from griefers. I do not want to make other people's gaming experience miserable for no good reason. Now if there is a war I suppose that's different but picking on people without cause isn't me.
3. Atmosphere - I am a mature adult who is looking for a casual atmosphere. I am a guy (I know my name says otherwise). The only reason I tell you that is so that no one gets disappointed if I get on Ventrillo or Teamspeak (Ventrillo is better I think). I am looking for a guild that is ok with the fact that sometimes real life calls and that a single 28 year old person with an odd work schedule sometimes can't make it online that day. I am laid back and I hope to find a similar group.
4. Money - I am very self sufficient in MMORPGs. I've never turned down offers but I do not expect freebies or money. I believe one of the best ways to learn any game is to earn what you get. Now advice and hints/tips, I'll gladly ask for those any day.
5. Playtime - MST in the US Midwest but I play odd hours due to my work schedule. Since I sometimes work nights (like tonight) it is too hard to give a better picture of when I am online (not without boring you at least).
I hope this post hasn't been too long. Sometimes I do ramble but hopefully this has given you some insight into me as a player. I truely believe that finding a great group of people will determine whether I play Eve Online for a couple of months or a couple of years.

Hya Lenara,
We are looking to expand our corp. We are recruiting people to do ratting and mission running for salvaging and corp standings mainly atm (well, also miners, but as you says thats not your thing ;-) ).
At Midnight Enterprises all employees are considered part of the military division and Admiral Vipa can teach you whatever you need to know about PvP. We are stationed in Placid, in the Federation, so pirate targets enough to practice on :P
Contact me in-game or visit the Midnight Enterprises Homepage if you are interested.

Hello Lenara,
I'm just responding to your post in our recruitment thread. Speaking to Tycho Malinhke or Banedon Runestar (or myself if they happen to be offline) about the corp is possible of course.
From what I read in your own thread I think Blue Star Enterprises is a good choice for you. We have many more members like yourself; starting players who like to find out what the game has to offer and then want to decide which way they want to go - so far we've figured out a nice role for everyone; I am sure we can do the same for you.
Your timezone is greatly covered. We are mature players of roughly around the same age as yourself (some a little younger, some a little older), we use TeamSpeak to help communications run smoother and we've got plenty to shoot for you - many agents (Gallente Federation mostly) to do missions for, a couple of complexes in the neighbourhood, low-security systems right next door, and sometimes even PvP finds us, as we just got through ouor first war (got declared on us, so we had to do some fighting there).
Anyway, to make a long story short, I hope you'll find one of us tonight in-game, and then you can discuss anything you want.
Hope to see you in corp-chat soon.
With regards,

Hi Lenara, Do you have the fire needed!
Bridgeburners 9th Squad are currently recruiting to fill positions. We're a small corporation, based in Empire space at the moment, but looking towards making a home where the action is in less secure space soon.
We have a small corporation pot of isk, ships, 0 tax rate and lots of modules, to help out newer pilots. That said, we are looking for players who are able to sustain themselves when needed and have around 3 mil+ SP, also being active once in a while helps .
Miners, Industrial, PVPers and PVErs all welcome. Also looking for experienced players, with knowledge and experience of setting up outposts, looking for a new challenge with helping the corporation grow in the right direction.
We want players who are willing to contribute towards growing the corp, pvping in the future when required, and generally who want to work as a team.
Contact me in game for more information.
